Blessed, What's pancetta?

I must really sound dense!

I enjoy learning new things because maybe a character in a short story can cook it up. It sure sounds tasty, too!
(((((scattered))))) Get Well Soon!
Cowinkie, Sometimes getting out with a friend is more fun than house blessing, too. I'm glad you got out.

I, too, have macular degeneration, dry-form and a bunch of other stuff. This week I see the specialist for a follow-up on my adhesion, etc... Do you get those reversal eye drops after you've been dilated

and had your exam?

They're great!
Lilac, It's great you got a new book to read from the library and got shopping done, too. It's like killing 2 birds with 1 stone. Isn't that a dreadful-sounding quote? Never thought about how "violent" that sounded to me before.
Kathryn, YOU ARE SO COLD there!

Keep warm!

Stay safe walking outdoors, too, if it's icy out.
Nancy, It's good you did errands, too, and got dgds coat to her and got a hug.
Harmony, Your good habits sound like good ones.

My good habit is putting out hot spots and trying to keep a handle on my laying clothes down in our master bedroom and hanging them up instead, so the bedroom looks better!
Elizabeth, I'm not a morning person either. I wish I was, but it's just not in me, unless we're going on a day trip to do a family function up north or are going to go visit friends at the ocean. Then, I try to go to bed earlier and get up earlier. I don't like it when I have fasting lab work or if a dr. asks me if I can make an 8:30 a.m. appt. Are they KIDDING????

I don't mind an 11 a.m. appt. because I'm awake and ready by then, but 8:30 a.m. means getting up way too early.

I used to get up way early when Dson and DD lived at home. But now that I'm older, anywhere from 7:45 - 9 a.m. seems nice. ♥
Sadie, I'm terrible about taking out my Bible to read it, but this year I ordered a small Bible Verses desk calendar and every day I read a new verse. I love that!

Your idea for Feb. 1 to be a re-start is a good idea. It's something I should do.
Dove, My weekly plan keeps changing because DH changes the days he does things, so it messes with my weekly plans. However, I do desk day on Wed. and try to clean house on Thurs. and Fri. so it's ready by the weekend. Everything else gets changed around depending on DH, how I'm feeling, appt.'s, etc.... I
try to have Tuesday for a day off to myself and/or Thursday, too.
Speaking of weekly plans! Ha! DH went to Costco and Fred Meyer this a.m. He didn't find any fire starter at Fred Meyer. He likes theirs a lot and he gets a box of them, when they're there. He came home, we put stuff away and all-of-a-sudden he said how it's supposed to rain for several days, would I like to get out and he needed the fire starters.
We went to Walmart, he got a different brand of firestarters and some hot chocolate (2 cans) for stirring into his International Coffee. I wanted to look at yarn. Oops!
I found a light pink Caron Pound soft baby yarn!
Then, we were going down the aisle and I stopped dead in my tracks!
There was a Peaches 'n' Cream kitchen cotton yarn I just "had" to have. I make kitchen mats.
Not only THAT, but the shelf above the cotton yarn showed a pattern leaflet of 5 baby hats with matching diaper covers.
I got that, too.
Now I'm really going to be busy.
It was fun to get out, but the air inversion there was awfully bad, as compared to our house, so my eyes and throat acted up. But I didn't need to use my inhaler because it did not cause asthma. Now I'm slowly putting out hot spots, am trying to make plans to balance writing with crochet, walking, the laundry, and housework.
Have a GR8 later afternoon and evening, Everybody!
