Mopped foyer floor. Main floor needs to be feather-dusted but aside from that it is done for the week. Bedroom level is vacuumed and dusted a day ahead of schedule (but I'm out tomorrow so that's why.) Basement (yesterday's chores) is yet to be done.
Ran a load of laundry too. So that's hanging. I needed long underwear for tomorrow.
Next up, tidy kitchen and start the dishwasher.

Super tired here as well. I feel like I haven't slowed down much since midday yesterday. Yes, super.tired. I did sleep well for sleep study last night (Thanks for asking, Harriet!) - definitely as well as I sleep at home and possibly better. Sleep tech told me this morning that she hadn't run reports, but guessed I had moderate sleep apnea. Said they may want to test me again with a CPAP machine for the night before I have appt with doc next week.
Busy morning - from sleep clinic to home to temple to meet rabbi to office to client office before 10 a.m. I had to lather up my scalp twice to get all the goo from the electrodes off. I didn't even have lunch, then at 4:30ish back to office and left for home at 6 p.m. Dh in a good mood stopped at grocery for steaks and I made a salad and a sweet potato, then he cleaned up kitchen while I walked ddogs.
We have a freezing rain advisory beginning tomorrow at 4 a.m. and lasting until 6 p.m. tomorrow. Schools here have already cancelled for tomorrow. I had considered working in the a.m. but not going to plan for that now. The Moe-baby has a vet appointment at 2:15 tomorrow - we'll see how the weather is. I have a lot of work that has come in this week.
I told the rabbi this a.m. that I probably will miss the Tu B'Shevat Seder tomorrow. It's the Jewish new year for trees; between the weather and a busy week I need the night off. Thankfully, a committee member approached the rabbi about winter weather plans to cut back if needed. He told me this morning that he expected approx 40 people but he's from Toronto. We won't have nearly that many if weather is bad.
Going to watch TV and read a bit. Tired.

HRH wants to be sure "your ladies" (as he says) have all seen this footage from Hawaii today.
Bottlenose dolphin asks diver for help
Hmmm... I think blessed is super tired !
Enjoyed that reading, Nancy.
I S2S late today trying to manage it when the temperature was not so cold. Went to the healthy grocery for honey, coconut oil and more stevia-sweetened canned sodas which were on special there today. I've also been able to find them lately at the BuyLow (spelled differently, if anyone knows it) store. Zevia brand - got "cola", grape and my fav black cherry. Also their better-for-you pizza. Walking across their parking lot we were nearly blown away by cold wind. Back at our mailbox, dd tried to get out to look the mail and couldn't handle it - had to get back in and let me drive up to it. HRH carried groceries as we warmed up and then dd did the chicken chores here this evening.
Oh no, Twins' Mom...freezing rain coming? Sigh. Let me check my weather, too, then.

Harriet: please thank HRH for me! That's a nice story to end my time on the computer for the day.

Hello Villagers....
I checked in earlier at lunchtime and cuop. Supper is now over and cleaned up. I forgot to listen for the mailman's car earlier, so just went out and got that in. I spent some time in the office/craft room this afternoon. There were a few hot spots from some holiday stash 'n dashes when I moved stuff to make room for decorations (which are still up, btw

). I went through a box of sundry items and either threw away or found other places for stuff. Also started a collection box for give aways. I also have a small box of papers to either file or shred.
Saying 'thank you' to
Helia for comment about dgd18. She is a really sweet girl, a little on the quiet side and is looking into nursing schools as part of her higher education. I don't doubt that she will be successful at whatever she chooses. I always enjoy reading your posts -- always very interesting!
Harriet, I try to use treadmill about 3 times a week for at least 1/2 hour. It doesn't seem to be doing much to lighten my weight any...

Maybe if I posted in H&F it would work better....
MT, a trip to Alaska sounds exciting. My dcousin lives there for 5 to 6 months in the summertime. She and her dh took a cruise one time and decided to buy some land and build a house they liked it so well.
Speaking of my dcousin: she and her dh were supposed to come visit for the afternoon/dinner last Sunday, but early that morning she called to say they were both not feeling well and didn't want to pass it on to us. So we decided on this coming Sunday. That's why the decor is still up as this was to be our Christmas together. But I do want to get it down and put away before out trip.
Tomorrow will be desk day. I want to clear everything off and organize it better. Any extra supplies I won't use will go into the give away box. I'm going to read new posts.....

Peeked at posts earlier today, but had an appt., so didn't post. I thought Thoughtful Thursday was a nice opener for today though.
My Ta Da:
- Quietude, Novena, & Prayers
- s2s, got pretty for appt.
- wrote in my journal
- gave some info to a fellow writer friend
- made the bed
- sent some forwards, read obits, and emails
- had a 3 p.m. appt., left at 2:25 p.m. and got in the door at home at 5 p.m.!
Next time, DH said he'll drop me off and go somewhere else for an hour or 1 1/2 hours, rather than sit there!
- I got my annual ophthalmologist appt. done. (More on J & C's)
- Ordered 2 meds
- wrote DH a Costco list since we need a humidifier and Flax Seed Oil Capsules (for me) now.
- set the dawn simlator
- planned dinner
My To Do:
- To blink more often and use my eye gel more often
- write letters
- read on some books
- try to crochet
- try to work on filing job/organizing of writing, but may do it tomorrow while DH is gone.
- Eat a healthy dinner
- sort laundry (will do it tomorrow if there is any to do)
- do emails
- floss, get out clothes, eye gel before bedtime
I need to pop over to J & C's and take a break. The dr. suggested timing times at the computer, use eye gel first, and blink a lot more while at the laptop, too.
I hope everyone's had a nice day
and I'm looking forward (OH! SOoooOOOO Forward to Fri.!)

Just lost a post and it was my own fault. Instead of hitting submit, I started to look at the dolphin clip and it was gone. Then I forgot to watch the dolphin, so will try it again.
Dhs friend came over and held the cement backer board while dh used the power screw driver to attach it to the frame. We now have a shower ceiling. with a light. that works! Dh thinks he can handle the sides himself. I hope so in case I am at dd2s babysitting on Saturday.
I cleaned the upstairs today and did laundry. Tomorrow will be groceries and errands.
I am tired tonight but need to work on my checkbook........

Hello everybody! Harriet, I enjoyed the dolphin clip. It was interesting at the end when she explained how nerve-wracking that would be for the diver as that "fish" was 8 feet long with a mouth full of teeth.
On this thoughtful Thursday, I thought I might need a nap so I did that this afternoon! Otherwise not a real productive day...did get a few things done.
CPA called me back and I took my "life in the portfolio" down to him. He said, well at least it's not in a shoebox! He says he gets people's information in lots of forms!
I stopped on the way back and bought a new dish drainer. I have spots on my old one that were getting rusty and inside the plastic feet there was black I couldn't get off. So a nice new one is now in my sink.
I worked on the dining room. Took one of the 2 leafs (leaves?) off the dining room table, polished the table and put a tablecloth on. It looks nice in there now. I cleaned off the kitchen bar top which was really piled up and washed the placemats I keep there.
Dinner was leftovers, I cleaned out a bunch of plastic dishes and a casserole so that is done and washed up now. I will have to cook tomorrow!
I guess that's all I did today besides the usual daily routines. Could have gotten more done, but for some reason I was very very sleepy this afternoon.

Harriet, thank you to you and HRH for this clip. That was amazing.
Did any of you see the article online where 3 young men in Tennessee were up for Homecoming King and they decided that no matter who won, they were going to give it to a student with disabilities? That really touched my heart. The student who ended up being crowned was so happy. Their parents should be proud of those young men.
I better get to bed.............

I have returned from art class. On the way back, I got some Bondo, not for my car, but to glue the leg back on DD10's plaster of paris puppy. Art teacher said that is the way to glue plaster of paris. When I got home, I emptied dw and fixed tomorrow's lunch. I have dumped out my sewing bag so I can wash it and it + other things are washing now. Cat care is also done. I will put the sewing stuff back in another bag while watching a mindless video, then do some crochet until LOL finishes. After it goes on the drying rack, I am going (or at least should go) to bed. Tomorrow, my one remaining permanent resident cat goes to the vet for her annual visit. She is 13, but as far as I know, in good health. She is also reigning queen, more by default than ability.
Good night Lilac!
