I just noticed I have not posted since Thursday, and I'm sure that was just a HELLO EVERYBODY post anyway.
* sheesh *
It's not that anything particular is going on w/ddad or anything. Just busy. Thursday night, ds & dgs went with us to eat supper & check mail/water plants @ dparents' house... Friday night dh & I went to movie. Then Sat., we thought we would be keeping dgs all day long, but it turned out ds & ddil didn't make their trip after all... BUT... ds and dgs came over to watch basketball game on tv w/dh. Nice day... dgs fell asleep w/me holding him and let me nap a bit in the recliner with him. So sweet... Then, since we had an unexpected free night, dh went to another movie, after checking in w/dmil & checking on dparents' house again.
Today... church... LONG nap... administrative council meeting... and now, Super Bowl. We have to go to Wmart when the game is over.

I need to do laundry also.

I need to call ddad & dmom.

I didn't get anywhere near what I wanted to do today. I did take an extended nap and slept well but when I got up a little past five was a little overwhelmed. Dh and I miscommunicated - I thought he was not going to the Super bowl party at the other synagogue because I had said I would cook, and he was apparently asking me to cook then, and he would go for the start of the game. Then dd came in and announced she could stay for supper and wanting me to help her with her camp forms for the summer. (Need a pulling the hair out smiliey here.) And I was wanting to get started with the stuff I hadn't done all day that needs to be done. So I did manage to reboot laundry and have folded some but not done much else.

I cleaned up kitchen and still need to walk the ddogs now. I guess I'll be done for the night at that point and will watch the game some.

Good to see you Lucylee and that you're getting through. Going to WalMart so late? I'd be exhausted by then.

CathyS, my laundry area is beside/in my kitchen and it is a huge help to me to get items like detergent out and in with efficiency so I have my space under control. I'm a once-a-day in the morning laundry person and keep the actual baskets of laundry under hanging clothes in our closet. Hopefully everything that says "laundry" is put away before the household cooking is really underway, because my dh is also the cooking type, and he spreads out!

Lynlee, if ever the thread is already begun when you have quotes, post them anyway!

I had to take my usual nap. Dd33's family is home safe. Took dd out after my nap to replace jeans.

Hi everyone! This morning I woke up late, to find DD10 already up and reading a book. We did manage to get dressed, eat, and get out the door in time for church. Then we ate Chinese (bribery for her to go to church). We came home and got her social studies homework done. Then we went to a fun center and DD played 2 games of laser tag and 4 games of laser frenzy. Then back home where she did more reading while I crocheted. XDH came to pick her up and he was mad because we did not get her other worksheet done. I had misunderstood him. He said we should get half the work done at my house. There were two worksheets, we did the longer. What he meant was that he had packed the half to do here in her duffel bag and he had the other half (math) at his house. Not good. DD and I had another weekend with no arguments!

After DD left, I updated Quicken. It is going to be an expensive month with DD's birthday party and possible roof work. I may be able to put something in savings anyway. I also CUOP. After I type this, I am going to eat, though I am not hungry. After that, I will do more crochet and watch videos interspersed with:

unload/load dishwasher
fold/put away LOL
fix tomorrow's lunch
cat care (including meds for one - I am not her favorite friend right now)
cleanup in LR
find more size 10 white yarn, or put it on the errand list

Tomorrow, I need to get a doctors appointment and find out how many kids are in DD's class. Then I can arrange the party. I will check back with progress later.

I will be exhausted for the Wmart trip, Twins! But I have a faculty meeting tomorrow that promises to run at least an hour long, and dh just has some sort of aversion to going at that time of day on a weekday. He likes to make sure we get home from Wmart, get groceries put away, deliver dmil's items to her, and get back for supper at home at a reasonable time on Monday nights. Sooo... when I'm late on Mondays, we go on Sundays. * sigh *

I'm missing Downton Abbey again, aren't I?

Dd is actually pretty freaked out about going back to school. Since she doesn't have a class until 10 am she's decided to drive there in the am. For those who missed it she and roommate had a big blowup and roommate made threat that "she could cut dd and no one would ever know." Dd has been in touch w hall director and roommate is supposed to move to another room, but it can't happen fast enough for dd.

In addition to tomorrow being the first official day of tax season, I will be taking dmom to the doc, returning phone calls re dsis, and have to leave work early so an acquaintance can look at our old couch and chair.

Lucy, can he go by himself during the day? My dh always comes home w weird stuff when he goes alone but sometimes it's worth it.

For the record I slept almost three hrs this afternoon. We were out late last night and now that I know my sleep isn't very efficient I'm taking care to try for some extra rest.

Nah, Twins... I don't really remember if dh has EVER done grocery shopping on his own. But he almost never sends me alone, either, so it's good. We keep each other accountable, I guess. Really, he would do fine on his own. We make out a list and it is extremely unusual for him to want something that is not on the list.
He makes out the list and also cuts the coupons. And he probably puts away 90% of the stuff.

Here I am, checking in again! I have made progress on my list. After 30 min of video, I decided to set the timer for 10 minutes and see how much I could get done. I kept expecting it to go off, but it never did. When I checked it, I realized I had set it for 10 hours not 10 minutes!
