The best result - I do not need a new roof!
That is great news, Elizabeth!
Has been another long day - left work early because dh called me that Macs "had fallen and couldn't get up." Dh said he was splayed out with back legs spread. Both of us wondered if he would need to be put down tonight but he finally scrambled up when dh cracked open the peanut butter to give him pain meds. This was just before I walked through the door. He seems okay - a little sore but otherwise not bad now.
Temple issues today that I don't know how to resolve from little old ladies who feel entitled because they have been members their entire life. And they sucked in a new member to help them - he now wants reimbursement for his money spent that no one authorized. And IMHO this isn't even a temple project as they title it a community project.
Long dr appt with dmom. She put in her hearing aid today but failed to replace the battery so couldn't hear anything again today.

Very hard for her to answer questions and I can't even read the forms to her - this arthritis doc has a whole battery of questions about how much pain, what she is able to do easily and cannot do at all etc. Late getting to dr appt then waited a long time and I am just very frustrated.
Email today that I need to go to GA county in which I filed for guardianship for dsis to be fingerprinted. That will be another morning or afternoon out of the office.
I'd quit work tomorrow if I could but CPAs don't leave their job during tax season unless they are fired, or never want to work in accounting again.
Dd's roommate moved out last night and she called at 12 a.m. to tell me she was alone in her room. I was asleep of course. Haven't heard anything else but last night she was extremely concerned that she would somehow be the bad guy to their mutual friends. The roommate's father is seriously ill and dying so apparently everyone is very sympathetic. I texted dd this morning to call if she needed to talk and haven't heard anything so I assume all is well.
I don't know how long I can keep going with dmom, dsis, dd, work, temple, and home with dh and ddogs. I am trying to take one day at a time...
So glad that Macs is okay. He is my dog through and through.
I'm sorry to be a downer tonight.
