Dh made us some roast lamb with potatoes and carrots. We had it with mint sauce tonight. Man, it was good. (Much better than the last time when he made it with lemon juice)

My left side and the part I landed on, is feeling much less painful today.

Mike is dizzy, but that is a side effect of the medication. For the first time ever, his mom forgot that today was his birthday. She usually calls really early and wakes us up (if it's on a week end day) and sings happy birthday to him. When he called over there to see if they were okay, his mom said is birthday is tomorrow. It made Mike and I sad, but she has been forgetting a lot of stuff in the past couple of years. Mike's parents are both in their 80's and they have done so well other than this with his mom.

Bread finished up just as we were sitting down to dinner. It should be cooled down now so I'll try a piece. It feels like a brick. Doesn't smell like bread either. On the bright side, it looks like bread from the outside.

......OK, I've had some. It doesn't taste quite like bread, more like a biscuit or something we can't put our finger on. It does taste good, though. But on the inside, it is dense, no air pockets, or crumbs. Apparently, gluten free bread doesn't toast well. I made this up to have with peanut butter or with melted cheese on top. We'll see how that goes.

I sliced the loaf up and put it in the freezer (with wax paper between each slice.)

I dropped a gallon of vinegar in the kitchen tonight...should not store that on a high shelf!! Of course, the lid flew off. Plastic bottle, tile floor, so I grabbed the mop and a bucket of water and proceeded to mop the floor. The floor needed mopping, but I had not planned to do it at 9pm tonight! I was only planning to add a splash of vinegar to eggs that I was boiling. If I had to drop a gallon of something, I guess vinegar made the least mess possible.

Hurried home from church tonight to watch "The Bible" on the history channel. That was 2 hours long. It will be on for 4 more weeks on Sunday nights. I guess that will be my new Downton Abbey!

Goodnight, ladies.
