The cement here is burn my feet hot - as in the sun burns my skin in minutes. I need some cream on the tops of my feet.
Guessing the washing will be dry soon.

Hello, villagers ~
Busy day.
Activated my new cell phone and transferred the number and minutes from the old phone. It failed when I tried to do it through their website -- did not want to transfer the minutes -- but using the landline to call the customer service number and talk to the automated system worked. Not sure why the one robot could do the job when the other one could not.
Found a manual for the phone online that has more detail than the one that came in the box. It has a lot more features than my old phone, including a bunch of stuff that I doubt that I'll ever use. I have, however, already used the teeny tiny keys on the qwerty keyboard to send a test text message to DH.
Lunch with DH at a local diner and quick shopping trip at the dollar store. They did not have a case for the new phone nor a charger that will work in the car.
Maybe I should sew a case from that pretty floral pre-quilted fabric?
Worked several hours at a fund raiser for Friends of the Library.
Came home and ate a sandwich for supper.
Long phone call to DMom. She was very cheerful and is feeling well.
I will now start folding newsletters, but will try to go to bed early. Possibility of a bunch of snow tonight so I can't plan anything for tomorrow until I see how much of the white stuff actually sticks.
