Happy Birthday Wishes DSadie!
We spent the afternoon and evening with dfam#1. They couldn't come to us as ds had to work until 5 pm. Ddil ordered Chinese take out from a nearby restaurant and we brought cupcakes for dessert. We stayed a little later than usual - we were having such a good time playing dominoes with dgkids and they were allowed to stay up later since it is Saturday. We always get a good once over sniffing from our own ddogs: they have three dogs, two cats and a rabbit!
I was awake early this morning, before 7 am and took a short nap right after lunch. But I did get everything I wanted done before noon.
Lilac, prayers for your daunt.
((HRH)) Sorry for the loss of your dfriends! Harriet, your azaleas sound beautiful!
Thought about Cowinkie and her party today. It was 6:30p before someone remembered the Derby and found a channel that showed it, so we watched it then.
Hello to everyone; hope you are all well! Have a safe trip Kathryn & Ken!

Re: Swift Sat.
Talked to my daunt. I posted in J & C, afterwards.
I took my computer to S taples today. It is $149.00 for them to clean it up. He said it sounds like a Malware problem. I explained how it happened, etc. and he said he has had the same thing happen. Of course, they tried to sign me up for 2 years of security protection that includes free removal of any viruses, worms, etc. It is $150.00. Dh uses the free security thru our internet provider and has had no problems. Mine is McAffee and is to expire any day, so I intially thought they were just trying to scare me into renewing. Not the case though. When I run a scan from McAffee it said that there were no problems and it was secure. The other thing was saying otherwise. Then I would shut down and restart and it was right back to the problem, I could do nothing else. Hopefully, by not pushing "Activate Now", there is less for them to deal with.
Business has been really slow for dd2. If things don't pick up, I imagine she will close her business when her lease is up. She has not made one cent to bring home. All the money goes into employees pay, taxes, restocking, etc. She has placed an ad in the paper to sell it and has had 2 calls, but it wasn't what they were looking for. It could be profitable for a person that could work all or most of the open hours. But with 5 kids, it's not working. I wish she would have listened to me a year ago..............
Guess I will quit babbling............

Re: Swift Sat.
Happy Birthday, Sadie!!!
Twins - it is great that you try to cook diabetic for your company - but if they have been diabetic for over a year - they know what they can eat of anything you cook.
I really hate it when I go somewhere and the hostess says something like, "I did this just for you as I know you are diabetic" It makes me feel like a freak. My DDIL insists on getting sugar free pie for holidays and it tastes like crap. I would rather she would get regular pies - I'm smart enough to know how much I can eat - it is moderation not deprivation.
The picnic at church went very well. We had well over 100 people show up and lots of kids (ones that have been coming to church) brought their parents.
I have been trying to pack tonight. I made DH take out one pair of slacks and 3 shirts. We will be where I can wash every 3 days so that will make it much easier.
Found a new author, Jason Deas - the mystery series is Benny James as a PI - the first of the series is Birdsongs.
Think I will go to bed to read a while. Otherwise, I will be too antsy to sleep. If I read, maybe I can relax.

Re: Swift Sat.
(HRH) so very sorry for the loss of dfriends.
Harriet, that is great that dd14 is getting to spend the night with her db and family.
Sunny, your visits with your dsons and their families always sound so relaxing and fun, with yummy food.
I also thought about Cowinkies derby party that would have included yummy food.
Can you tell I am hungry? Dh is munching cookies, as I type.
