MT, you crack me up!!
Good feeling and it is nice that he looks like he should be on the cover of GQ.
I needed a good giggle.

((OK)) That does sound frustrating. Hope is it resolved before you meet him.

Working on teaching. Realized I had left out a fundamental concept. I'm working it into the introductory remarks. Hand out is pretty much made. Now, to flesh it out w/ my notes so I have the concepts I want to be sure get out there -- but I now need to tend laundry and start cooking in 30 minutes. . ..

Hi everyone! I got done all I needed to do last night after DD11 went back to XDH: trash out, sheets out, check for maids, and round robin pick up in prep for maids. I even got some crochet done on baby hat 1 of 2. Because the maids are coming today, I left the door to the sewing room open, allowing dFosterKitten full access to the house for the first time. This afternoon, I need to type up last months meeting minutes and read some stuff for payroll.

Tonight's tasks are: animal org meeting, LOL, put sticker and registration on car. Unfortunately, I will be missing Bible study due to the meeting.

I have a long list of pending things: attic work, finish roof work (almost done), oil change, two crocheted baby hats, upload pictures of a doll dress, upload pictures of dFosterKitten, scheduling for the next animal org event, email two dFriends, check into some fundraising opportunities. So much.

I am thinking of lucylee.

Starting minutes now.

I have had interruptions galore between ds and dd, who is now home. Dd and I sat down and talked awhile and she's upstairs with ds now. Before she got here, I headed out and went to bank for dmom (forgot my own ckbook tho to get cash for trip) then to PetSmart (dog food for Moe) Target (several things needed, but forgot to take purse to return) and to post office. I'm just all over the place today.

Dd doesn't know what she wants for supper, and at almost 6 p.m. I'm not likely to start cooking right now. Dh is doing a golf tournament and is supposed to be home late so I'll try to work a little while the natives are calm upstairs.

-call vet about picking up food for macs and thyroid meds tomorrow
-water plants
-start delicates in washer
-fold lol that ds dumped on kitchen table
-otherwise clear kitchen tabe

You are funny MT

Our other "traveler" right now is Cowinkie. She is attending her son's graduation in the South. Hope she is having a really good time with him. I know they planned on some fun things to do.

Last weekend we went to San Jose to see new baby great-grandson for the first time. Of course he is the most beautiful baby ever, as was his 3 1/2 year old sister. (But it is the truth.)

This is for Katherine if she CUOP. DD lives in Willow Glen, a really nice sought after area of San Jose. Just down the street a few blocks is a cluster of Eichler homes. (I know you commented on them one time.) Every time we go by I look for For Sale signs. These homes are so popular it is hard to find one for sale anywhere in the Bay Area. This trip we saw one for sale and stopped to get a brochure. All the pictures of it inside were gorgeous and recently remodeled. It has only 1,475 sq. ft. and Four - yes 4 - bedrooms. I can't imagine it, and the price is $860,000. Because of the location - Willow Glen and between 2 Catholic Churches it is probably already gone. I myself would love an Eichler but not at that price! Thought you would be interested.

I looked up Eichler homes and boy, do they remind me of my parents' home. I don't suppose he built or sold home design plans in Illinois? I need to ask my parents. I know their home was designed by a famous architect who built a lot in California. I don't remember if their home was built in the 1950s or 60s.

Dinner has been made, consumed, cleaned up. Dfriend R ate with us. I dropped off dd14 at synchro practice. I can't concentrate to work on my teaching since dd17 is playing music on her computer; she is always playing music. Dh is off to a friend's talk. I'm going to head out to a coffee shop so I can concentrate and get my notes in order.

Okay the neighbor guy was talking about how frustrating it was to get his son in some program like that and finally gave up and the son is going to school after all graduating with his class instead of the running start thing I think it was. They have home school programs but the p/c help; was well quite awful to get going with it from what I gathered.

I found a way to hid the videos in a drawer so the baby is not getting them out of the box all the time and I pulled out more summer clothes before doing that. I got the play pen out of there sent it home with the mom today. The baby was not using it and if I need one I have one in the basement.

Now for tackling the table. Got the mom's day letter and gift off to mom this morning yea for that! Did some hand wash.

Home work help time now. -*~poofers~*-

Hi Everyone!

I've read one of Pam & Peggy's book some time ago. Since then I've found a few other books, but I've found our Village here more personal and helpful!

Today was desk day; wrote a few checks and got them to the mailbox, paid a couple of bills online. I also went through some folders on the computer and deleted some files not needed. I should go through my favorites links -- it's getting too long.

Dson#2 stopped here on his way home from work today to mow the front yard, but dh had already done that on Mon. So all ds had to do was the edging. He came in and visited for a few minutes; he also invited us to supper at there house tomorrow. We haven't been up there for supper in a while. He said they wanted us to come to make sure their dog, Sugar, remembers us. They are going away for the weekend and asked us to go up a few times to let her out and give her food and water.

I didn't do much else except daily basics. It's dark out now, I'm going to read for a while.
