Heading to bed shortly. My anti-inflammatory for the pancreatitis has been stopped so I'll only wake up on my own for pain meds tonight. I napped all evening (from 7 to 9:30 when dh called to say ds was on his way.) I was really cold when napping and when they did vitals just now it turns out I have a fever. I'm not surprised but don't know why. We'll have to watch that.

Ended up with 12 x 8 oz of liquid today. So that's something in the plus column. And ds took for for a walk around half the outside of the hospital. I was feeling really bad when he arrived but opted for the walk before pain pills and felt better during the walk. I'm now suspecting it might be the bad wearing down my back. I have a heating pad for that now so it might help. Will need to make sure I get it off well before they take my vitals in the morning but I can use it for my arm before the blood draw.

Got an assignment to do, so changed titles, will keep stories about the same though.

The grands-16.5 & 9.5 are doing well. Are watching Ninja Warrior with DH, then a movie, an old one called, "Duel."

Planned out my calendar for a few weeks, am catching up on snail mail so I can read, write, and study.

The shower door man came 20 min. early, so was glad I was up, dressed, and the bed was made pretty with decorative pillows. The shower door is in the master bathroom. He'll get the part in around the 13th, will call us, to come install.

Since the guest/main bathroom shower was a low-restricted trickle flow, DH took out the restrictor so we have some "oomph" to shower with.

Grandson 9.5 decided to go to Oregon on the 13th, after all, with his brother and Gpa/DH. I'll stay home, as they're going in a 2-front-seat riders truck with a jump seat. No room for me unless I rode in the bed, but with them bringing back my horse trough, using it as a planter, and Dad's Memorial Bench, would have to be tied on the truck cab top, or get a trailer hitch to pull me behind. Am looking forward to crocheting for dgd-6 months, that day, writing on stories, and reading. They'll be leaving at 8 a.m. and don't plan on being back until 5 p.m. or later, so will be nice to have a quiet home, after the 4 of us for 10 days. We're empty nesters and are not used to all this different routine, but it's a lot of fun. The youngest one is so cute. The biggest one's so grown up. Keeps getting to drive the riding lawnmower and truck. Will drive truck in places on the Oregon trip, too. Gpa's a softy, but feels, since the boy has his driver's license now, he needs the experience, which is good for him. I'll miss them while they're gone, but have plenty to keep me busy, like gearing up for the winter and New Year holidays writing, especially heading into Spring. I'd like to have plenty done ahead, so may take time off here and there for whatever reasons.

Hi everyone! I did not use common sense and slept until noon. I bought another mattress protector. This way if one is in the wash, I am still protected. Very important if you have a cat with a sensitive stomach! Then, I bought a book I had been eyeing and went to the knit/crochet group. I finished the feet of the baby golden dragon. This is a rather difficult pattern, so glad I did not try to get DD11 to try it! Then some more errands. When I got home, my garage door opener was beeping annoyingly and when I tried to lower it, it bounced back up again! Back into town to order a battery to stop the beeping. Then, I had to adjust the travel and force of the garage door. Now, I have a nicely working garage door. Of course, this took all the time I had allotted for database work! That has been moved to tomorrow, after church.

Someone from the animal org is coming Wed to give shots to 3 of the 6 cats in my house. This means that I had better make the house presentable. My bedroom is done, LR needs a little more work, kitchen is a disaster, other rooms need minor maintenance.

I am going to set a LOL to drying, then watch a mindless video and crochet, hopefully not too late.
