Dove in rare cases it is used with gall stones and it seems to me that mine would be the perfect case to try it on (since the success rate isn't as good as it is with kidney stones.) Since my stone is almost unreachable any other way, this is a non invasive option to at least ask about.

I'm feeling well enough to start back at work now, so am working on getting ducks in a row (confirming surveys I have on next week and looking at service outlines.)

My minister friend called and chatted for an hour so I had a good visit with him.

I'm not eating much today but I'm eating good things.

Got an egg from what I thought was a roo today which was stewie! LOL! So "her" name is now golden girl not golden boy! The biggest eggs from this new batch of chickens so far! Yea for another layer so I'm thinking we might have 4 laying now. Both of the broody hens have been out and about taking a bit of a break.

Dgson came for a while went to the other granny's and was supposed to stay here so his dad could take him to the water park. He got all excited about going to the other granny's when she arrived he just got in the car on auto pilot. I knew he was going over there to help pick apricots just thought it was today not tonight. He said his ear was bothering him any way and maybe he needed a break from the water today after all. It's all good. But keeping schedules is a challenge.

Dgd had a bit of a fever and was not doing too good but the other granny is a nurse so she is in good hands.

The baby fell asleep after we went out side long enough to give the chickens some frozen berries.

I finished dgd's halter. So cute with kitty cat buttons on the front bodice!

DH, 2 grsons are at Applebee's for lunch. We had a gift card there, to use. They hauled and stacked wood at DH's friend's house, but we get the load of wood on Friday.

It's starting to warm up here, so I have a tank top on.

Might crochet a round halter for dgd again today or tomorrow. Got a story sent in.

Thank you for all the birthday wishes. Funny, I don't feel any older. Picked up new Driver's License and went to 2 museums. Then out to eat lunch. Now time for a nap.

Long round of errands, ended up forgetting the dry cleaning drop off (forgot to take stuff with me) and skipped stopping for bagels.

Laughing with Nancy about the chicken rooster turned hen! Didn't you wonder why (s)he didn't have a comb?

Dove, I had all the heart tests 8 or so (can't remember) years ago. I do have an arrhythmia. But they sent the test results to a heart dr. who specializes in rhythms and he said nothing to worry about. Current dr. says those tests are only good for 2 years and I should have them done again. She said sometimes it can be caused by a blockage. Well, I have no symptoms except for what I can feel fluttering and no pain. She didn't seem upset that I opted to wait. I think she's just dotting I's and crossing T's. My insurance doesn't cover anything like that.

Whew. Big paperwork project is done. Typed, scanned, emailed off. I sure would like to get this job. I sure will be tickled if we get it and the numbers work out like DH thinks and we don't lose our shirts over the whole thing.

Sunny, it sounds like you are having a lot of fun with your DGKids! Keeping you guys active, anyway. Your card came. I must call...

Hi everyone! My car is back and looking good. The battery I ordered for my garages door opener has been delivered to the hardware store and I will be picking it up after work. I got all the maid prep done and they are coming today.

Last night, I finished crocheting the baby golden dragon's arms. I was woken up at 1:30 by a horrible smell on me bed. I won't gross you out with the details, but dKitten Levity got a bath, and some bedding got changed.

Tonight's meeting with the animal org board is cancelled. One of the other members is coming by my house to give shots to the kittens and Iris. Nice that the visitor comes right after the maids! I will be doing some database work, and possibly some shredding and filing.

I got a call from DD11, by now, XDH's parents have delivered her to my parents. She reported that she was able to swim without pain to her leg, which is still in a walking cast. She also said she was disappointed that the fireworks display had been cancelled due to rain.

Meeting with counselor was helpful. She said she helps students with this sort of thing all the time, that we don't have the run of the mill sort of student population. I'm sure much of our student population IS "run of the mill," whatever that means, but I can see her point between the international population and the professors' kids who may go overseas every 7 years. Those 2 groups overlap, of course. There are different ways of doing this, of which an International School would be the simplest. What we need to do next is nail down which country we'll be going to -- and when. She recommends Jr. year over Sr. year. She is an excellent counselor! Each of my kids has or had her. I've heard she is retiring -- after dd15 graduates, thank goodness. She helped us with ds' class and belated registration when we did this last time.

It took us 2 hours to cull the shirts, so I was done at 3. The band director (or music dept.?) has a large budget right now (I think he has saved it over the years) so he told us to be picky. And we were. We kept maybe 30 shirts and culled over 100 of them. The orchestra mom tallied the culled shirts and she will be emailing the numbers out. It was not bad b/c I got to chat with the orchestra mom who is British and a Spanish prof. at the big U in town. She has a dry British sense of humor and is very nice, very easy to talk to. She is also more decisive than me (not saying much!) which was helpful in making decisions re: some of the shirts. Her family spent 2 years in the UK while her eldest child was in high school, so we chatted briefly about that exact issue which we had just discussed with the counselor.

I came home, ate something, and took a nap, I was SO tired. Dh offered to pick up ds for me. They'll be home any minute now.

Thanks for the well wishes for Maia. When I came home this afternoon, she trotted up to me spattered in mud. Upon seeing her, I thought to myself, "You're not doing well being calm and quiet today, are you little one?" The "sedating" effect of the medication doesn't seem to be working today. We wonder if she is just feeling better.

I now have chili heating up in the crockpot and have some leftover chicken in sherry-parmesan sauce and artichoke hearts thawing to add to the dinner. Dfriend A will be here soon. I'm drinking tea to wake up.

- start the rice cooker
- make cornbread -- I forgot about this until now!
- trim fresh brussel sprouts for steaming

That was a long round of errands but I got a lot done. I laid down for 45 minutes but I don't think I slept, which is okay. Going to do another round of stuff here....

-clear kitchen table and counters of groceries, stuff that came in
-temple emails - deal with three
-start the load of laundry I didn't start earlier
-deal with ddogs flea/tick/heartworm stuff
-see if I can print a photo to take to dsis
