Bw2, so sweet!

I guess I've wasted enough time that guilt compels me to get busy. Need to round up lunch first...along the way:
-clear/wipe kitchen counters
-clear/wipe breakfast bar
-clear kitchen table
-reboot laundry
-make the bed

Did 30 minutes exercise, iced ankles, then took antibiotic, and printed up writer's guidelines for Blue Mountain Arts and Chicken Soup for the Soul. Played Josh Groban music while biking/praying for 30 min. and it was just so nice.

Goodness! A helicopter flew overhead so close to our home that it shook it! JBLM (Joint Base Lewis McChord) is a distance from us, but fly overhead a lot on their way to and from maneuvers all times of day or night. Also, we're in the flight path of 2 local airports and Sea-Tac, too. We're used to it and believe it or not, it's rather quiet here.

DH is taking the garbage can up, will check the mail and buy me some yogurt. I have yeast in my mouth, which can be from an inhaled med I take, but it showed up when I quite eating yogurt. It had gone "bad" on me twice, so now am opting for a different brand instead. I take acidophiles tablets, too, which help. Hmmmm..... I wonder what the mail will bring today? :?:

Have a Happy Afternoon! :D

Dh just pinged me that our Irish friend who lives in England wrote him to make sure we were OK and that ds hadn't been called into work. He has posted that fact on FB reduce the number of inquiries.

I just got a much longer than expected task done, entering chits into Quicken.

We leave in 90 minutes so I need to work on more tasks. At least the list is keeping me active. I did the data entry standing so it was much slower than when I sit but sitting is hard on the knee. I watched Failure to Launch while I worked.

Dee - Do you think a replacement power cord would help? I have had good success ordering replacement power cords from Amazon. I was a bit leery because they are very cheap but have been pleasantly surprised they work well. I've ordered 3 different cords for laptops over the past couple of years. The last replacement power cord I ordered was about $3 for LO's 3DS and it works well too.

DH and I traveled to next town over to try a new eating place we have heard good reviews. We weren't disappointed. The food was homemade and wonderful. We will definitely be going back. While we were eating, several people stopped by our table to visit with us. The owner (and cook) came to our table and asked us how we liked the food and if there was anything we needed. When we went to pay for our lunch, it had already been paid by someone.

My focus is still on accounting. The accounts I have brought up to date just take a minute or two to update daily. I can see the progress, but there is a long way to go still.

Well, a not so great afternoon. Or a very great afternoon -- depending on how you look at it. I got into the peanut butter, my Achilles heel, and topped that off with a few potato chips. then, I fell asleep. SO. .. I have NOT been very productive other than producing/plumping up some fat cells, I'm quite sure!! LOL!

I did get distracted looking at the Hebrew passage from which dh wants me to analyze 2 verbs.

I'm going to gather my items, snacks for dd15 and head out the door. She has already gathered her oboe things together. When I get home, I'll need to get dinner together and then head off to meeting at the school. I'm going to look at the Hebrew verbs in the cafe during her lesson.

That's exactly what I just did. Had looked up the power supply on a different site and it was $28.95 + shipping and thought to self: Wonder if A mazon has it. $8.99 and free shipping. Have a 'prime' membership which I have used countless times! It will be here Friday. So I'll probably run out of battery before then -down to 60% now.

So will try to cuop later if I can manage to get on my other computer to read. Thinking more & more it may be my router as other things are cutting out too.

Dh's kindle fire bit the dust 2 days ago and can't get it to even show the battery light. Being only 19 months old will try to call A mazon to see if there's a fix or do I have to spring for a new one already?

Our "scattered showers" this morning turned into a big storm that repeatedly knocked out the electricity. Power came right back on again each time, but of course I could do nothing on the computer all morning. I did some other chores and watched TV as long as I could stand it (having to reset the tv & dvr & dvd player each time the power went out), then finally gave up and took a nap.

Not a very productive way to start a day when I'd hoped to do a bunch of writing.

Not much else going on here. Boring is good. ;)
Off to cuop, bbl.

Helia, I'm with you on the lack of motivation today. I've been looking at recipes for dinner party for tomorrow night. If dh cleans the grill and pronounces it ok to use, he'll grill salmon, if not, it will be roasted. Last time the grill was used it wasn't heating up enough. Hard to make a grocery list yet.

-call vet re: dMacs meds refill & dog food needed
-take out kitchen trash
-fold lol in dryer
-start a lol of sheets, etc from upstairs
-put tablecloth on DR table

Dh called and said that the two Israeli educators want to go shopping this evening, and the other family is taking them and will get our guest home. We will go out and eat then! I need to remember to p/u dry cleaning on the way downtown.

Bookie, we've been w/o rain now for a couple of weeks and dh doesn't know how to operate our sprinkler correctly. I need to get the info out and see if I can get it going - our grass is turning brown...
