Hi all! I'm trying to spend less time on this machine. I can sure fritter away a lot of time here. . .

Moms group was this a.m. I was out the door late at 8:25 and I got home around 1 pm. I had lunch, had a 40 minute lie down/nap, and then went to TJs for some things for dd18's ( :!: ) informal birthday dinner tonight. We won't celebrate properly tonight since dh is out of town, ds is on campus, S and R are busy with baby, etc. Still, I think it is nice to do something the day of, so I let her choose dinner. I have a small gift for her too.

I got home from TJ, put everything away, then fussed with the child care workers' spreadsheet. I figured out how to do totals of columns and rows and put those in to include the 3 new workers.

Dd18 is now off tutoring in the program that works with homeless children. She says she'll be home at 7. So. . that give me 2.5 hours to cook, tidy a bit, and maybe get in some exercise. It is a perfect fall day here today, really beautiful, not a cloud in the sky, leaves changing, temps up to 70. :) Maybe I should at least go for short walk.

Hello again! I have read lots of documents at payroll and am about to head home. The church meeting isn't until 7:00, so I will head home and work on cleaning the refrigerator. Somehow it is a less daunting task when I know I will have to head out. Some shelves can go in the dishwasher, but I may just do them by hand, depends on how it goes. I will also work with the new babycat.

Today, I almost caught up on my 'Listbox' email folder. This is where I put things from email lists, like FlyLady emails and crochet group emails. I have only yesterday's and today's left, but that is about 40!

By the way, I Love Yarn Day is tomorrow. That may just be a marketing ploy, but I thought I should mention it anyway.

I am signing off now, so I will 'talk' to you tomorrow. Bye!

Very tired. Can't clean up the kitchen and go to bed because the cleaning would be too noisy for dh who is still recording.

I have removed some software that I believe was slowing down my computer. I've also sent some emails regarding the survey. My throat is now a raging sore throat so at least I know where I stand - I'm definitely sick.

Still have to write the sermon. One of the boys emailed me with a link to this week's Sunday School lesson, asking if I was teaching. I forwarded it to the actual teacher. He's been researching Goliath so will be a handful in class on Sunday!

Dinner with the family was full of hugs, laughter and probably too much noise. I'm afraid we were "THAT" group at the restaurant tonight. I can only assume other customers were wondering what was going on and thinking we shouldn't be so noisy with everyone talking at once.

Tomorrow morning the remodeler fella comes to look at our bathroom. I've have looked at over a 1000 of bathrooms designs the last couple of days and feel comfortable that I know what I want to do to our bathroom. I was hoping to find a bathroom design or picture like I have in mind to do to our bathroom, but wasn't able to find one. My remodel idea seems simple so hopefully a picture won't be necessary.

I missed that quote, OK, and now I can't find it. . . Who wrote that today was their wedding??

Kathryn is reminding me that we need to renew dd15's passport. She is going to France with the hs bands in April, but her passport expires next summer. Again, it needs to be good for at least 6 months. With dh's father approaching 90, we also figure it is good to keep all passports updated, just in case. . . . Reminding me, dd18 has already said she does not want to go to Italy with the humanities class this spring.
