We had the pizza and watched Quartet. I've been wanting to see this for about 8 months. It was on the 5 for $5 for 5 days rack so I picked up 4 other movies that dh isn't interested in and will watch those. Both ds's old room and my creative room have TVs with DVDs attached so I can watch while working. Or I can put it on my portable dvd player and watch anywhere in the house.

Dh said that if I had the movies, he could plop me in a room while he's recording and know I'd be quiet. I sound like a 3 year old when he puts it like that!

Practiced the two anthems for tomorrow. This is the first I've tried to sing since last Sunday. Croaking is a better word. I can barely make the C above middle-C and one anthem has an E. We are a quartet, the E is my job and there's no-one else to hide behind. Even dropping it 2 demi-tones leaves me with a D which is pretty creaking now. The song is "Throw out the Life Line!" and is really, really, old so has language that doesn't roll off my tongue so I practiced the words by speaking them to the rhythm, then practiced it set where I can sing it (about 4 demi-tones down.) That doesn't work for dh (as bass that puts him well below his range even with the cold lowering his voice more) but at least I'm getting the tune, rhythm and wording worked out. We'll see what tomorrow brings.

The main anthem has an D as well but I'll have others to sing it with since it is the full choir.

Off to bed now.

Up way too late.

I completed 2 months (5 pages) of photo book. Thankfully all my photographs are organized by date so it was easy to find all the pictures for each month. But the rest of the process took time.... selecting the best ones then cropped and tweaked the pictures. Added background, stickers, banners and descriptive text to each page.

A friend is asking for volunteers to sign up in long term cancer research program.. I got signed up and appointment made for initial blood draw then filled out the long questionnaire.

Time to get some sleep. Sweet dreams

It's 9:52 p.m. here, the Oregon Ducks are playing the WA State Cougars. DH is from OR, used to see the Ducks play in the end zone area for .25 cents. He rode his bike over there, so he roots for the Ducks. :D

I fixed my hair 9 different ways, curled it, too, but on the 10th try, I ended up putting my hair into a decorative gold and "pearl" hair clip mid-high for a ponytail, which I wear out and to appt.'s anyway. So after watching all the video demos, trying 9 hairdos I ended up with what I start with most mornings anyway! A ponytail! But I had so much fun playing with my hair! Now I know new styles. :P (But will probably wear a ponytail). ;)

I voted, DH will vote and drop the ballots off at the drop-box this week or next. I got those ins. forms for Medicaid filled out, will get an approval or denial within 30 days. Hope I'm approved. :D

Washed 1 large load of dark clothes w/jeans, but dried the jeans separate from the tops. Washed the inside toilet lid where it hits your back, while sitting, and used a tile brush, crocheted cleaning rags, and cleaner. Got most of it, but DH will get it spotless WHITE in the 3" x 2" spot I can't get white. I'll wash the rugs in their, counters, and we'll sweep and mop, too. It's the main/guest bathroom. I'd love to wash towels, too, and clean the powder room and master bathroom, too, but Monday's and Fridays are cleaning days, so if I do it, it'll be GR8, but if not, it'll be taken care of on Monday a.m.

Been writing letters, too, slowly, and it's time to get my kitty cat in from the garage. She's our "Big Game Hunter," which means she catches mice, lets them go, catches them, lets them go, and just plays and she's a non-killer cat. However, she kills houseflies and spiders. :D Nice, Kitty-kitty. (I HATE spiders, unless they're teeny-tiny or are outdoors!) :D

Hope (((Dee))) is feeling better!

OKay, That's great news! You Go Girl! :D Good luck!

Happy Sunday tomorrow to Everyone! :D
