Oh what a night! la-la-la-la-la-la-la-la-la! Had a wonderful evening at DS-A's. Noisy but fun. There were about 20 of us. Our whole family plus were there. How DDIL#2 keeps up with DGS15mo. is beyond me. He is one very vocal and busy boy. His vocabulary is now about 200 words and then he jabbers a lot. There were 2 other little ones -DSGD21mo and DSGS1 were all there. Busy, busy, busy. Our old neighbors who have become very much a part of DS's family were also there. Love getting together with them -just been too busy medically this year to do it.
MT, sent a message via FB saying they're home and her IP has been blocked. She wanted everyone to know they're fine and relaxing at home at long last. Love their bathroom, except contractor(s) evidently left big purple glue blotches & she'll be getting a new floor. Not exactly the way she wanted one.

Re: Sum it up Sunday
It's 7:26 p.m. here. I stripped the bed, washed sheets, DH dried them, and we made the bed together.
I scrubbed and redecorated the master bathroom counters and main/guest bathroom counter.
I purged some stuff from my bathroom drawers and 35 b-day and Valentine's cards from last Jan./Feb.
I tidied my desk up in the office.
I wrote a pal a letter to thank her for sending me coupons for my pal who is married to a blind man. It helps her out.
I've crocheted a lot on dgrson-4.5's afghan, did 2 loads of laundry (other than sheets) and they're put away.
I have a letter I owe, but it came in yesterday, so an "immediate" reply is unnecessary, since we also email each other, but I've got her envelope addressed, pretty card/stationery out, etc...
I put a cobalt blue place mat down on the eating bar where I display my cards I'm working on, list pads, and decorated it with a scarecrow ceramic guy holding a big basket, to make it more festive there for fall. I have a week's at a glance list where I'll check off 5 fruits/veggies eaten a day, weigh-in, and something else, but I've forgotten what I wrote now!
I dumped trash, picked up after myself, which is a fete in and of itself.
I let DH sleep, when he conked out while he was watching TV football. He got up at 7:30 a.m. and was tired.
He also blew leaves off the driveway and a woods road. He gets firewood Mon./Wed. and will be done this week. Our supply will hold us until May or June, depending on when the springtime warms up and how cold it is. So 9 cords will get us by. This year he only had 7 cords last fall, so got caught short, ran out, and needed to use the furnace because it was so cold in early spring.
I'd better run and get out my clothes for tomorrow, crochet some more, and get readier for the week ahead.
Have a Super-Duper week, Everyone! Sorry I was sort of MIA today, but I was busy. Have a good sleep and great start to the week in the morning, too. (I hear DH snoring from the sofa, all the way here in my office down the hall.) He's so tired.
Take care! Goodnight!

Re: Sum it up Sunday
HAD TO STOP CUOP and start replying when I read this:
And I just keep KICKING myself b/c I think, “Good grief, lucy, you are not working a day-job now, WHY can’t you do better???”
Oh well. Thanks for the laugh. And I apologize if I have made myself sound more “together” than I am. * sheesh * Believe me, if I were to get anything accomplished, I’d be on here bragging about it. * sigh *
Like right now – hooray, hooray – got a load of clothes in the washer.
Two weeks’ worth ironing to do… soon to be three weeks. I’m too embarrassed to take it all to the ironing lady, so I must get busy with this.
Today I also managed to wash lunch dishes (soup pan & spoon), water plants, write check to pay paper man, and take allergy shots. Visited w/dmil for a while, kept dgs an hour or so, went to movie w/dh. (Escape Plan – pretty good.)
Did NOT call dmom or visit her. Tried to yesterday; she put me off b/c her driveway was being sealed and was impassable. Tomorrow is not looking good either, but Tuesday we should see her @ ds's bday party @ dmil's.
ALSO – a very big thank you all for the anniversary wishes. We had a really nice weekend. And our team DID cooperate, you know. Amazing victory w/a huge defensive stand in the final minutes… we are thrilled.
It was a great football weekend for a lot of us, as Twins noted!
Hope you are feeling better, Dee, and that Mr. Dee stayed warm and dry!
Sounds like a beautiful wedding, BookSaver.
Digital scrapbooks – I did one for dparents’ 50th anniversary, and for ds/ddil’s wedding/parties afterward. Remember they had an announced elopement. Only two photos from the actual ceremony. I used Wmart for mine and was very pleased.
Oh my… looking at what a talker Dee’s dgs is! Dgs here -- 16 month next week -- is STILL very much the strong silent type. He is just barely beginning to jabber a little bit, and STILL his only words that I am aware of are da-da, dog, ut-oh, and sometimes car. Sometimes no. Pediatrician does not seem concerned. Would y’all be concerned? I think I am concerned. He will go back to pediatrician at 18 months. Maybe there will be more words then. We talk to him ALL the time. He just seems very stubborn and quiet. But he laughs readily -- it's not that he is unemotional. Just QUIET.
Well – I started replying after I quit ROFLOL!!! Oh my, Sunny… Sunny… NOOOO… Cannot answer for the others, but I am getting absolutely NOTHING done EXCEPT the errands. Oh my… ROFLOL… It is impossible to explain how LITTLE gets done around here…don't know how all you others who do the running around errands, like Twins'Mom, Harmony, Lucy and others handle it and still get it all done,

Absolutely agree with THAT thought, Harriet. It seems to me if you pretend to serve alcohol to young teens (birthday girl turning 14), you are suggesting alcohol to teens. Hmmm...

Tomorrow is another day.
