Hmmm... I don't think I've finished ANYTHING today. Well, I did walk 3 miles w/dh & ds, dgs.

DH & I didn't even finish watching the high school football game!!! We were losing by over 40 points at halftime, so we left, and listened to the rest on the radio. We were freezing to death!!! Hope it's warmer tomorrow night at college town!
* I will be wearing orange AND blue, but I will be cheering for your orange team, too, Cowinkie! ;)

Need to get the sheets back on the bed and get clothes ready for tomorrow.

Nervous. Going to J&C.

Had a blast getting flavors for the new to us soda stream. New sugarfree flavors to add fizz to we can make red pop.

Hope you feel better Nancy, and Elizabeth.

Dd33's family arrived fine. I had a pork roast and potatoes meal waiting for them.

Ds called with a problem, in need of babysitting in the morning. This messed with our plans so we rearranged our plans. I am just hoping dd33 isn't disappointed, and she insists she is not. Tomorrow we will keep the green-eyed boy together with his 3 cousins here at my house until time for a community halloween/fall festival nearby. Then we'll take all the boys to that and ds will meet us there to pick him up. Then tomorrow evening we'll go to the church that historically binds my family with HRH"s for their "trunk or treat" and hayride.

Because I was concerned dd33 was disappointed, I agreed immediately to the idea of DangerBoy and WonderBoy sleeping over at Grandma's house. I've just gotten them both to sleep and finished the Evening Daily Card. DangerBoy stayed up a while talking and for the first time discussed his hearing with me alone, and helped me understand better.

Dfirstsisil has sent me one of those emails that requests an instant answer about whether you want to send back a notice that you received it. She is the only person who ever sends me those and it just bugs me no end. There is no choice of "maybe" or "later". You have to decide right away and can't even x out the email until you decide. I was so tired and irritated I just said "no".

She wants confirmation of what I've already clearly told her in a phone call. I'm tired and she can wait. Ds can email her, as payment to me for babysitting. She is changing the date of the Christmas party and wants so much for everyone to line up and say she's right. But instead of explaining any reasons, she just gave everyone three choices and our family branch didn't choose the one that is ultimately going to be her date. So now she is saying we didn't definitely say that. Yes, I did, I did indeed. She says I said, "not our favorite", when I clearly stated, "least possible one we could attend". She needs to save face with the rest of the family or something. Sigh. Always, always drama about that party ever since she took it over. And as soon as I saw she was sending everybody three choices I knew the odds of drama were high. Why not just pick a date and move on without managing all this rigamarole to make somebody the bad guy. Now it will look as though we are the last holdouts spoiling everyone else's plans, while she tries and tries to convince us. Phhhhtttt. If we attend, she was heroic in making us see that we could. If we don't attend, we make others wonder if we're angry because we didn't get our way. Did I say Phhhttt already?

Maybe I'll be like BookSaver and come back and delete my griping! LOL (BookSaver, I thought you had a genuine disappointment there, having your preparation time cut in half like that.)
