Napped. Apparently those ta das just took it out of me this morning. I am heading out now to go to dry cleaners, YMCA for tour and hopefully get a flu shot. Maybe grocery for something for supper....

Got my photo, a handmade bookmark and Debbie Macomber article from "Costco Connection," magazine together for my pen pal.
Did calf/leg stretches B/4 and after walking 30 minutes.
Called my 97-yr-old BFF.
Put a folded blanket on the foot of my side of the bed.
Cleaned my dirty bathroom sink.
Set my dawn simulatof for tomorrow and got a.m. clothes planned.
Started one lol.
Wrote a "to do" list for Wednesday.
Turned my SHE cards around to the P. M. ones.
Tidied the master bathroom.
Ordered some panties because my good best-fitting ones are down to 3 pairs and I keep doing laundry so I can wear my favorite panties. DH finally said, when I said I'm washing panties again, "Why don't you go ahead and ORDER a couple of pkgs.?" I ordered two 3-pack pkgs. of JMS cotton stretch ones. I've worn them for years, they fit beautifully, are so comfortable, don't bind or do wedgies, and they wear great, wash good, and are long-lasting. I believe these are about 6 years old or older, too. I have panties in another brand, the next size down, and panties in sizes below those, too, but I'm really hurting for Just MY Size!

I'm super tired, so it's time for a bit of a nap for me, for about 30 minutes. DH is going to go get the mail now, too. He was happy to report to me that none of the Maple trees logged on the parcel behind our parcel were not taken from us, but the logger did take over the line on someone's other property who he's not supposed to be cutting there. Don't know if that owner knows yet or not because the fines for this are prohibitive and the logger who steals pays 6 times the stump value of what the entire tree cost, plus court costs. It can ruin a logger's reputation and career, too, making it super hard to find future jobs.

Happy National Cat Day everyone! Of course, it is always Cat Day at my house. Speaking of which, the only remaining foster kitten, Panther, is adjusting to the adoption of his two main playmates. He has found that Lara will play with him and like it, Cleo will hiss at him and run, and Tiki (the queen) will sometimes tolerate his presence if he lies quietly. Mostly, Tiki is teaching him respect for his elders.

Last night, I finished the painting on my art class project. Next up: embroidery, beads, and sequins. I managed to put the trash in the outside bin, a difficult task with the broken foot, so it is an accomplishment. LOL washed so I would have pants today, but there are 3 LOLs needing folding and putting away. I did not pay bills and I absolutely MUST do that tonight. I stayed up way too late working on a crocheted Charmander (pokemon character). It is complete except for assembly, which of course, takes longer.

Tonight is Girls' Night Out with DD11, so I am certain to be eating Chinese. Not sure what we will do next. I wouldn't mind going to the library, but I don't think that is likely. I also wouldn't mind Chuck E Cheese, but that is not likely because I cannot actually follow DD around and play games well. However, CEC would allow DD to have some fun without me being a limitation.

Next up: Get FlyLady's list for the week. I probably cannot do all the items on it, but it will at least give me a focus.

lucylee: Monday's problem is not the same as the one I and others have had. We cannot access the site at all. In fact, that is one thing I really want to take care of before I am laid off. I do not want to be cut off from the village while I am looking for work. It will keep me on track.

Harriet: Gravity and Levity did indeed go to the same home. Their new people had lost their two sister Maine coon cats (old age) and wanted other large cats. Since L (the smaller of the two) was 9 pounds at 5 months, they are expected to become huge.

Oh, Nancy -- I'm sorry if you had mentioned the dream earlier and I missed it. I was just cuop hurriedly, skimming through, and still am, b/c dh is about ready to go -- dmil's, maybe a movie.
Low blood sugar is definitely a possibility w/me -- could be a dream connection, too. ESPECIALLY SINCE I WAS DREAMING ABOUT EATING WEIRD THINGS, TOO MANY THINGS, ETC. Yep... now that I think back on it, food could have definitely been a trigger.

-joined YMCA and scheduled orientation for tomorrow
-got flu shot, picked up shampoo and dry skin lotion
-picked up dry cleaning for dh
-grocery, where I picked up a few things but also forgot a few. I got the ingredients to make a crockpot soup on Thursday evening
-moved trash can back into the garage, per dh's request

Now....
-marinate two ckn breasts for supper for us
-put away rest of groceries
-clear/wipe down kitchen counters
-start a lol
-poke around for some pebbles to go into the bottom of a small pot and repot the mint I want to keep going this winter

Incredibly busy.

Ta-da: nice late morning/early afternoon. Dropped off stuff at presbytery, picked up dolly (for the move), had lunch at the chip wagon, hair cuts (and dd saw both the chip wagon owners and the hair stylist), picked up milk on the way home.

ta-da: fetched the boys (except the youngest who wasn't sure he wanted to be around the snake) and they came here and played with Fluffy for a while. Then dd got to see their home, including her old loft bed in the boys' bedroom.

ta-da: started dinner (which turned out very well)

ta-da: got a decision made on bookcases. It works against me now (I have to empty the large bookcase holding my preaching library) but I wasn't planning on taking the bookcase with me so it means I don't have to get rid of it closer to move date.

ta-da: dinner dishes all cleaned up.

ta-da: have finished the sermon

ta-da: have a list of appropriate music since I've just heard that the praise band is baling on me for Sunday so they are bringing in someone else. Fortunately, I've worked with her before and we get along great.

ta-da: the rental truck is all arranged. We have to drive farther to get it but dh negotiated an additional 50 free km. We'll be right at the limit but that's ok. Dd will drive over tomorrow with her dad so I don't have to be part of that.

Now I need to get to work on my preaching bookcase. I picked up boxes at the grocery store and we are still short lots. Dd and dsil are currently emptying her stuff out of the storage room and staging it in the garage.

Hmm, the other thing that causes very bad dreams is an out-of-whack thyroid. In the beginning I had awful things that were half dreams / half mirages. One night I was sure there was a huge apparition in my room. shudder....

I got that meal to that family. Poor guy went back to work and it's not going well. He had 2 broken vertebrae in his neck replaced and has a lot of pain. Working did not help. They think the wife is set to lose her job. We have done about 2 months' worth of meals for them.

The lady I visit in the nursing home has lost her cousin, her only relative that she knows, except for the cousin's husband who does come to visit her. I went to see her last week when I heard the cousin was in ICU. My friend did not know the cousin was at that point in a coma. She died last Friday. I stopped on the way home from delivering the meal and got a card to send her.

Just odds and ends done today, but I'm at least keeping up with the majors.
