I didn't finish strong. I sure didn't.
After hunting insurance cards, etc., we were out the door early to next town for DH's dr. apt. Arrived about 20 min early so he could fill out all the papers which they were supposed to have sent to our email except they never arrived. We waited almost 2 hours for the appointment and the place was packed and we had to sit in the outside lobby for a while. In the exam room, had to wait another 30 min. till they came for xrays, then another 15 min till dr. came in. How many flipping hours did we waste on this appointment? I lost track. DH was not amused.
And of course, the news was bad and the xrays that were taken after his operation are missing, which means we are guessing how bad things are...nothing to compare them to...which is aggravating to no end.
DH spent the rest of the afternoon and half the evening doing research on the internet.
I folded a LOL, did another load and hung that up. I spent some time at my desk, reconciled a bank account that I had messed up and couldn't figure out for quite some time...that's what happens when I decided to split my one personal account into 4 different sections and keep track of it that way
We ate dinner but by that time I was nauseous from nerves so I just had an egg...was glued to the coffee pot all day - I get like that when I'm stressed and I'm sure it makes things worse. Anyway, I got down all the empty gift boxes but don't think I'm up to tackling any of the wrapping now. I hope I can sleep tonight.
