In Pago Pago. Am thinking about the irony of being at sea for 5 days and then 6 days but yesterday was the first day in months and months (possibly since Sept) that my TOM arrives. Sigh....
Will stick close to the ship so I don't have to deal with challenging washrooms.

Re: Tuesday Therapy
I've looked in several times but not posted today. I was out at 8:30 for the TMJ dentist appointment this morning, then met dfriend/former coworker for lunch. Temp has been dropping here and we had some rain and snow showers earlier but no accumulation. I've done parts of a.m. routine but have mostly been a nonstarter at getting anything done today. I need to be at temple for a 6 p.m. meeting and need to do some prep.

Re: Tuesday Therapy
Welcome Rhy!
It is so nice to have you here with us.
It's a beautiful, cold, snowy day here. We have close to 3 inches on the ground with more to come. The wild birds have been here all day, & the roads are a mess. Dh canceled an appointment he had for tomorrow morning. We ran errands yesterday, knowing the storm was headed this way. It feels good to be stocked up on dog food, cat food, bird food & people food, & knowing that we don't need to leave the house tomorrow.
Today was a catch up & laundry day for me. Tomorrow will include shoveling for sure!
Waving ~~~~~ to everyone. Hope you all have a wonderful day.

Re: Tuesday Therapy
Hi everyone! Doing a fast post and run. It is nearly 3 pm here and I must pick up DD11 at 5 for Girls' Night Out. Before that I have 3 things I MUST get done: 1. check email fast (any employers trying to contact me?) 2. file for last week's unemployment check 3. toss another resume to the 4 winds.
I thought I would have art class this morning, but it was cancelled. I am still not happy about the smell in my bedroom. I wonder if one of the cats got sick and I just haven't found it yet. Under the bed is inaccessible, but several know how to open closets, so now I just leave them with a cat sized opening. Massive, extreme bedroom clean up tonight!
Ivy: The application process I went through yesterday took about 2.5 hours! That is what I should probably allocate each day. However, I am still trying to regularize my schedule.

Re: Tuesday Therapy
Elizabeth, after approx 9 months of unemployment, I'm still trying to "regularize" my schedule. Seems like every day is different some weeks, between dmom, dsis, and temple issues/meetings. Once I get past temple stuff, I'm hoping I can set a regular time for workouts.
Meant to post about yesterday: I had printed POA and advance medical directive and just took it in and asked her to look at it sometime, and we could sign it later in the week if she wanted to do so, and she was receptive. Hoping that I can cross that off my list finally.
I enjoyed the MLK walk yesterday (nice weather, about a mile so I walked two miles or so total) but probably will never go back to the annual program. I left at 7:30 or so - the last speaker had gone on for 45 minutes and was very, very difficult to hear and understand. I know she knew how to work a microphone but she was fading in and out.
Need to leave soon....

Re: Tuesday Therapy
I will pray for you, DSadie. Wow, back to work already. DS-R is to be out probably 6 months with his. But he's a heavy equipment operator and it's his right arm which he would use all the time. Thinking about Mr. Harmony and hope he can find some good answers too.Tomorrow back to work, please pray all goes well there.
I'm looking online (often) to keep checking on dh's flight status for tomorrow. Sure it's too early for it to be canceled but I have to do some rerouting for Dr appointments, etc. if his plane is cancelled/delayed. But we're not the only ones in this boat, so just keep hoping for the best.

Re: Tuesday Therapy
Afternoon y'all..
Welcome Rhy, so very nice to meet you
Oh well I guess y'all don't want to hear that is close to 80* today and that is a near record. I did my normal morning routines, fed the doggies and picked up my footprints. A book I had on hold came up at the library so I picked it up. Then I headed to K mart. I need some winter stuff likes good gloves and a hat to wear for my trip home. Winter stuff was on sale for half price so that made me happy. I also purchased a new pedometer. I dropped mine on the kitchen floor but didn't realize the part that holds the batteries in place had popped out. Didn't take long to discover that as I noticed Willis was chewing on something. Though he didn't eat the whole thing, he ate enough of the cover that I couldn't keep the batteries in place.
On the way home I did a small grocery run. After I arrived home I put everything away and then made myself some lunch. Took Willis out after that and we played frizbee plus I did some training with him. I hope to take him out in the fields so I can work with Willis there by the end of the week.
I am subbing for the next two days. I must be crazy. The gal that I am subbing for is a past co-teacher. She doesn't have good classroom management and the last sub she had went to the principal to complain about her classes. I've already subbed for her several times this year so I know what I am walking into. I will just have to re-establish myself with the kids quickly if I want the classes to run smoothly. Sweetie always gets a kick out of this. He is my biggest cheerleader and knows my days will go well. He just loves to hear the stories when I get home.
Hey Elizabeth..WTG on working on those job applications. I know it took me more than 4 hours to complete my sub application. It was so frustrating. I wanted to say to the person reading the forms....just walk to the room next to you, pull my file and you'll see everything you need to see. The District Sub office is right next to the HR office. Hang in there...
Good to see that both Sadie and Helia's DD is on the mend. I'm also thinking about Dee's DH. I have gathered most of my cold weather stuff. I can pack everything into my carry-on, but I LOVE your idea about renting winter coats. I'm going to put mine in my seat, open it up and sit on it...I imagine there will be many others doing the same thing. Okay... thats sure is a bunch of tree limbs and stuff to remove. If I were closer, I would be glad to help. I love doing that kind of stuff...especially when it's NOT hot out.
Dinner is cooked, but I need to get things organized for tomorrow. Nancy, what was the TV show you missed??? I think it was the same one I wanted to see. However I got sucked into my book and didn't close my eyes until after 1:00am this morning....gotta love retirement. If i keep this up, I'm gonna be on Lucylee's schedule
