dd34 and family may be able to come in next weekend.

HRH is doing well, thank you Ivy. He took the day as a rest day.

I am really tired. Have definitely done too much today. Traveling with him, then right back out for me because there was a new prescription, then that meant grabbing take-out because I hadn't been home, going for gasoline myself, and since dd missed a class because of a last-minute call with time change for HRH 's appt, taking her forward and back to school at a different schedule.

So I will need to sack out for sure. HRH is going to sleep on the couch since he slept some of the day away and doesn't want to keep me awake if he can't sleep. I don't think he could wake me, but I appreciate the thoughts.

Happy weekend to all.
Lynlee has already gotten it started for us, I guess.

Waving ~~~ to everyone after cuop. I had so many comments in my head to post but every time a new one popped into my head the previous one disappeared ;) . I've been in a semi-quiet mood lately, probably because I miss my dh. He'll be home soon. (I try not to worry him when he's away, Harriet, but he has been watching the weather channel & knew what was going on around here :) ).

I've enjoyed reading about what everyone is doing, & was delighted to read that the MT's have a sweet new dog! I'm also happy Ivy was able to return to the village :) , & that Lynlee & Sadie's shoulders are improving. Thinking often of the Dee's & the Harmony's & praying all health concerns work out perfectly.

Bookie, you made me laugh when you talked about donating some of your books but having to remember not to buy them back at the next book sale! Thanks for that giggle! :)

Sweet dreams, everyone.

Hi again! I have gotten 2 resumes uploaded. The 'maybe' one does actually have locations in ABQ, so I applied. There was not a specific position I fit at either company, but I have been hired with general resumes before. I am hungry and it is 10 pm, so I should probably get a snack. I still have more to do, but I may have to wait until Sunday night. (Saturdays are booked solid). Need to do cat care and me care. Maybe I will have a chance to do other stuff.

Harriet: Good idea to close off the other cats in the bedroom. But then again, I don't want to hide any adoptables. If they come in thinking of kittens and decide they really need dFosterCat13, I should not do anything to prevent that. I should clean up my room anyway. It's annoying ME.

Hmmmm, Friday seems forever ago.

I got moved to the new B&B, eventually went into town by bus, got wet from rain, had lunch at the train station, eating food from the grocery store, got to dh's place by 4 and sat there until 5 when he was ready to leave.

We walked the streets, picked up a transit card, had McD's for dinner and killed time until 8 and took the bus out to the airport. I was exhausted but we waited 3 hours for ds to arrive, then drove back to the B&B in the car we rented.

So not too much to show for ourselves.

Ds had a bad last day. The company that rents out his apartment changes staff almost weekly so he had to wait for someone to arrive that knew he had given his notice and once that happened, the person who hands back deposits was gone out. Ds couldn't wait any longer so headed to the airport. The train ticket we bought him the day before expired (no expiry date on it and bus tickets are good for more than one day) so there's $22 lost on top of the $300 deposit for the apartment.

His flight went well though and they fed him which was good.

Our flight the night before was also very good and we got fed as well. Great food.

We got back to the B&B at midnight and were in bed at 1. Got up at 9 (10:15 for ds when I woke him.) Had breakfast provided by the host and then headed off to explore the countryside in the car.

We had lunch at almost 3 so aren't hungry for dinner now at 6:30. It is pouring rain here again (was nice up the coast) so I dread going out again but we have to.
