waving from Sunday sunny and hot again ... 37c =99f I need think about a main meal soon as I'm out by 6 tonight, and breakfast was watermelon when I got home from church. I think dog walk will be after 9pm tonight.
I don't know that I've been able to hold onto my neck adjustment. Trying to remember to sit correctly and not kink it up again. Next suggested appointment time is end of the month.

Re: SATURDAY PWYC
We just ate dinner. I'm going to finish a lol and do some laundry room cabinet tops fake grapevines removal, dust the cabinet tops and re-decorate them, after the lol is dry and folded, away.
I'm so happy that I've got FIVE entire weeks left to get in the next story(ies).
Tomorrow, I call my 97 1/2 year old BFF to see if a certain day next week, for a visit, is best for her, for me to come over. She couldn't have me on Monday because of a visiting nurse/dressing change on her leg. So it'll be later in the week. It'll be so nice to see her again. She said she'd love to make it to 100, but she'd be satisfied with age 99, too, as a death year. So cute!
Harriet, I'm glad you had a good trip. I'll bee-bop over to J & C's to read more.
Kathryn, I bet you're awfully glad to be home. I think I've only been in a limo once, after a funeral, but too many years passed by for me to remember suspension.
Nancy, You got good things going on there, bargains, food, etc...
Have a great night, Everybody!

Welcome Home Kathryn!!!
(((Twins)))) That stinks. Grrrrrr.....
What have I done? I'm not sure yet. I think DGS18 has moved in with us. I'm not sure how long he will stay and I'm not sure how long we will allow him to stay. I really REALLY am overwhelmed with the thought of tackling his problems..... and I can't trust that he won't hurt LO (again) so they can't be together when they are out of my sight. And DGS18 really REALLY does not want to live in the boon-docks where we live.
So how did this happen????? Things were hectic at DNephew party this afternoon when DGS18 called asking for a place to stay tonight. Bottom line..... I brought DGS18 and all his worldly possession (one suitcase) home with me. If he is going to stay here, we are going to lay down some requirements, major boundaries and guidelines with serious consequences. I don't want to have that serious discussion with DGS18 when LO is listening and I want to do it with DH present....... so I'm waiting for the right time.

Welcome home, Kathryn!!
Oh, no Twins!! ((HUGS))
I tried to post from O'Hare Airport in Chicago (yes, we flew west to fly south and east. . ) but was blocked. Travels today were fine; we had a 3 hour layover in Chicago. I thought of how Kathryn and I were leading parallel lives today, spending so much of the day in airplanes and airports.
And. . .. . we are now installed in our Miami Beach hotel!
It's a little dated but is the cheapest one I could find on the beach during the days I was looking online.
SO different to walk outside w/out a jacket. Sign across the road says it is 71* at 10 pm.
We're going to go out and look at the beach now. Then, we're going to go to bed -- and sleep in tomorrow before heading out to the beach again. Forecast for tomorrow is a high of 79*, clear and sunny!!
After all the cold and snow we've experienced, these Michiganders are going to positively revel in the sunshine and warmth!! --and put on lots of sunscreen as we're mostly fair-skinned folk.

Re: SATURDAY PWYC
Lynlee, dfriend in Adelaide posted about 43*C temps there. She said she preferred 43C dry weather to 26c humid weather, which I think they had more recently.
I've read about some parts of the US still being in drought. Wouldn't it be nice if those of us who have gotten more than our share of snow and ice this winter could just scoop it all up and send it to them?

Kathryn, I'll bet you are just so glad to be home again!
{Twins} so sorry about the purse (and dh). I think I'd rather have surgery than have a purse stolen and all the trouble and work that causes. Both my daughters have had theirs stolen, DD2 twice at least, and DSoniL had his passport and wallet taken while in Costa Rica, and car electronics gps etc. stolen plus checks right in their own driveway in subdivision. If I leave mine at all in the car I put it in a bin I keep in the back that is for tools. No trunk in an suv!
OKay, I do hope it works out with DGS. You got rid of one problem and now you have another...
Our tile is 20" x 20" and it is light sand color with slightly darker specks throughout if one looks closer. The grout is almost the same color, with very skinny grout lines between. It has a little shine to it and has an overall look like a marble floor except not white, was the closest we could come to that for the money. It shows every speck of dirt.
DH grouted 7 of the tile but he's still waiting for 5 of them to see if they'll dry more or if he needs to redo them.
I'm not a happy camper about that.
Got my desk and hutch all cleaned off and the dust all gone even off the very top. That dust had sifted through the towels I had over it.
Some of the stuff I had sitting around and removed I didn't put back. Things look better, less cluttered. I think I'll leave things like this.

I keep a towel in the car to toss over my purse as needed or I lock it in the trunk.
Harriet yes I love the soda stream. Especially for the diet cranberry juice I mix in with it, and other cyrystal lite flavors thst I can. Ot get sugar free h. Pointed out that it is is not as cost effective as he thought. I use mine daily and grand kids love to make what we call red pop that is with diet cherry berry or grape juice with the fizz water! I like the orange soda stream flavorings the best in the sug. Free flavorings.
I got a zebra striped robe at the flea market. Then thouht of a home made shruggie by putting a robe on backwards.
Got. the crock pot on sale for only $15.
A point of intrest the peach mango sauce made like apple sauce the kids did not like but works great in muffins.

Re: SATURDAY PWYC
HI everyone! DD11 is now DD12. This morning, I picked up her twin friends and took them to her party at a skate center, where a good time was had by all, and injuries were had by none. There was not an opportunity to open presents, so everyone, including myself, was invited to X and the other woman's house (which was originally X and mine) for present opening. Politeness was had by all. DD and the girl twin were arguing and she asked to be taken home, but the boy twin and DD wanted to continue playing. They also wanted to have a sleepover. X decided it was past time for boy-girl sleepovers, and I had been thinking the same, so DD was not happy about that. It's especially hard with twins, because they are right. It's NOT fair that sister can sleepover and brother cannot, but that is the way things are. (Note: DD and sleepover guests of any kind actually sleep in separate rooms. She has a twin bed and hardwood floors. Regardless of who the guest is, that just is not comfortable.) They played at the park and at my house.
I am on the sleeves of the commission crochet work. That is the BORING part.
I have volunteered to do some 'proactive gossip' at church tomorrow for one of the party guests. Her son took a fall out of a WalMart buggy and has a bump on his head and a black eye. There were witnesses and his mom took him straight to urgent care. However, a person at church has called child protective services about him, when he was bitten on the nose by a dog (belonging to a non-family member), and she is worried that it might happen again. The child is autistic and almost non-verbal, so it is not possible to simply ask him what happened. I will be spreading the truth around.
helia: Send some of that snow to Albuquerque. We never have too much precipitation.

Oh, ((((((Twins))))))... bless your heart... good gracious. This too shall pass. (((BIG HUGS)))
And ((((((OKay))))))... I missed something. Did dgs18 physically hurt LO,
or was it just the emotional coming/going/here today-gone tomorrow? I don't blame you for being concerned and wary of letting him stay now. My goodness... just out of the frying pan and into the fire, seems like.
Keeping the Harmonies in prayer, along with HRH's father, and -- Dee -- How did family day go for dsil & dgd?
Long day here... up @ 6:00 to go to college town and not home until about 9:30. Exhausted. Church at 9:00 a.m. Administrative Council @ 4:00 p.m. Wmart -- b/c dcousin's father-in-law's visitation is Monday night.
