(My panties are more the granny-variety, too, high cut briefs, in various colors but always, only, 100% cotton. I am fairly indiscriminate between Hanes and Fruit of the Loom, and am a bit aggravated that Wmart doesn't have more "nude" colors in its variety packs right now. I also stack, on a shelf in my bathroom closet. My bras (also bought from Wmart) are generally stored on the towel rack where they dry...
When the towel rack is empty, I know I have to do laundry! -- I did hide them in the closet, however, when the family came for Christmas.)

The reason I did not get here earlier was that today was the retired teacher-ladies lunch day. We had a visit from a local massage therapist! She was quick to tell us that although she had been asked, she did not do anything "extra." She offered sample chair massages for us and I was quick to take her up on it! I have been aware lately, that I do seem to be holding a lot of tension in -- seems I have trouble relaxing my muscles to sleep at night. (I sleep quite well on the couch mid-evening, however.) I did NOT leave my chair massage thinking OH WOW THAT WAS WONDERFUL, * but * it DID feel awfully good (and I only got about 15 minutes at most), and I wish dmom would try massage. I think it would be worth a try and might do her a lot of good.
Afterwards, Wmart for groceries... the usual Monday routine... DH is not feeling a lot better, but appears to be slightly improved.

(((Harriet's dd))) That is an awfully strict policy... looks like there would be a distinction between excused and unexcused tardies! I am impressed w/the sitting on stools requirement at her ISS. At our school, ISS students sat in regular desks. Sitting on stools all day would be much more difficult and would certainly help make sure no one fell asleep! But if she can stand the discomfort, and she is allowed to read whatever she chooses when work is completed, maybe the time will pass fairly easily.
It IS sad how she has lost both grandfathers this year... of course, ds here lost both of his within 14 months, and ddil lost both of hers within the 9 months that she was pregnant. Maybe that isn't so uncommon... but it seems so, especially w/ds's grandfathers being almost 20 years apart in age! I lost a grandmother on one side and grandfather on the other between Easter and Labor Day 1990. My grandmother was 67 and my grandfather was 79. That was awfully tough on me, and like ds, I was almost 30 years old! I remember I felt like I just cried all summer.
