Hello Dear Ladies,

Sunny but getting cloudy now.

Congratulations to LO!

Did basic housework today-dishes and some laundry, then worked on my PT at home. Still can't get my arm behind my back but have decided to focus on making the things I can do improved. Worked 50 minutes on that and then headed to the shower.

Work day for me. Called Dfriend and she is coming back next Thursday providing that her foot is healed enough. her primary care doctor is overseeing her care for the foot.

Going to surf the web a bit. Take a short nap and head to work.
Great day to all!

Twins, I'm sorry to read your dsister has had problems where she's staying. There ought to be a law against abuse like that...oh, there is. The lady I visit claims things have disappeared in her room. She has drawers with locks on them. Such a shame. Like kicking someone when they are down.

Such a day. Last evening I waited till 8:30 for DH to come home and I was worried, but figured correctly he might have made the trip south to pick up supplies for new job...and that's where he was. Unfortunately, his tires didn't like dragging all that weight (2 tons) home because those tires aren't worn out from use but they are dry-rotted from being 8 years old. We don't use this truck much. I'm very grateful he made it home without a blowout.

Fell asleep on the couch and woke up at 6 this morning. Very annoyed as I missed a dose of medicine and tomorrow is my lab test so I am trying to get caught up...

Woman in office didn't return our call...so I had to drive into next town with paperwork as I didn't have her email addy and our papers were a day late. Stopped at church on the way back as our committee was moving all our stuff from one location to another building, but I was late and 4 others had done most of the work already. But we had a nice visit and a bit of prayer...

I got stuff to make lunches as DH has eaten some of the stuff I bought... and bought him a storage bin and met him at supply house... his bin has cracked and his stuff is all over his truck...

I seriously need a nap. Not enough quality sleep last night. I'm in a sorting/cleaning mood but don't have the energy now.

I think congrats are due to Okay as well... She made it through this years kindergarten as well. :x

Sunny I love gardenias as well. When I rented a home in Orlando many years ago, the owners had planted a bush over the septic tank. The thing was huge... There was also tons of jasmine growing up the backside of the house. My whole house smelled heavenly when I opened the windows.

When I lived in Southern Al and New Orleans I had magnolia trees in my yards... These differ from the bushes as the flowers are so large..think bigger than a grapefruit. All I needed was on flower in my home to fill it with its fragrance. I misses the spring and summer smells of the south.

Dee, I heard a lot of people use Melatonin for night-time sleeping. I use Benadryl for allergies, but try to not take it too much.

Cowinkie, I didn't know that about cluster migraines.

Harmony, I slept 1/2 hour in my recliner to music, then kitty cat got on me, I was chilled, got up to get a blanket, & she had stolen my recliner. So I snoozed 1/2 hour under a blanket on the sofa. I was up later & up earlier, so am tired.

Sadie, I hope your co-worker gets to come back, too. How's your dson doing?

Twins', No person in a facility deserves to be pinched. :!:

Helia, I'm glad your dental appt. is just routine. Oh, I've got some teeth to be re-crowned from gold into the white ones. I'll begin next month, slowly over the year, as we save up for them. $$. I had full-mouth x-rays in March. I have 2 crowns to be replaced, but then a right bottom back molar, gold crown, started "bugging" me, which is a NEW problem. DH said in June, whichever tooth bothers me the worst, we'll get that 1 done. I'm so scared of root canals, but I've been having an on & off fever, so I'm thinking 1 of my teeth may be infected. :?: I think it's the gold 1 the Dr. didn't seem concerned about. :( Thankfully, it's not a daily pain, too, & it goes away in a few minutes.

Nancy, your coffee cakes sound wonderful! GET WELL SOON!

I was so cold, tired & napped; then DH got back from the woods, I got so hot, so changed into a lightweight cotton ankle-length Muumuu. I dumped the trash in all waste baskets & DH took the garbage can up. Thurs. is our pick-up day for garbage.

Have a super afternoon, Everyone! :D

Love magnolias and gardenias. Unfortunately, haven't had the kind of yard/garden where I could grow.

I feel like Harmony chained to my paperwork today! Misery loves company, huh? Trying to get this squared away but I'm not going to finish before the meeting. Have an issue to resolve before I finalize f/S.

I've s2s-ed, purged the refrigerator and am ready to print a prelim statement. It's killin' me that I haven't had time to do much here at home.....

Congratulations to LO!!! (And to Mr. & Mrs. OKay!!!)

(((HUGS))) for Twins and dsis... that is terrible about the pinching! Agreeing that photo documentation of any future episodes would be wise.

I went by the school today to visit w/this year's retiring teachers for a minute and pick up copies of latest issue of school paper.

Then dropped off check w/dbil for late daunt's estate.

Earlier, walked 2 miles w/dgs in stroller while ds & ddil ran. Right -- she came w/ds and said she was going to run w/him -- but she didn't hold out as long as he did and then they shot basketball till I got finished w/my two miles.

Pretty good day so far (except walking seems to have stirred up allergies!). I need to pack for weekend trip b/c tomorrow is haircut day & babysitting day, so my time will be limited.

I still have not done the church minutes or the recommendation letter. Better get those out of the way.

Oh, that is awful that dsis was hurt in a place where she should be safe, Twins.

Back from the dentist - no cavities. :D Well, they didn't take x rays this time. As usual, the hygienist did comment on my flossing habits. I guess they can tell I'm a religious flosser. The idea of walking around with unflossed teeth or with food stuck in my teeth really bothers me. . . .

I only got one of my errands done after the groc. store - C ost co. I took notes on what they have and the price in terms of paper goods, plasticware, veggie trays, and bags of M & Ms. I did buy 200 nice paper chinet plates for maybe $16? I'll stop by the party store tonight. They might be more pricey, but they also might be more colorful/interesting.

I'm feeling SO sleepy, but I need to make dinner now. Dh has a meeting at 7:15, I believe; would be good to sit down to eat around 6:30.

Last septic guy came and went. We also went for a walk for the mail.

I called the piano tuner and got instructions on when it should be tuned after the move. And I called the clock repair guy and he'll come next week to pick up the works of the grandfather clock so they won't get hurt in the move.

Two boxes are packed. Dinner will be in a few minutes.

I've just been invited to preach any or all of 4 Sundays at a church I've been to before. YAY! (It is always nice to be invited back!) Responded I'm available for all but they may want to split it up with another lay preacher (they are supposed to, so we all get chances to preach and I get a lot of work so need not be greedy.)

Once I'm settled at the apartment, I'm to let a friend know because she has several pulpits in Quebec that need covering and I'll be living just minutes away from those churches once I move. Not sure I'm ready to work in Quebec because I have zero French but there are cluster of congregations that are English so as long as they don't use French in their services I can help her out.
