Nancy , I have a kitty cat who "helps" me.
I did 2 lol, dumped all trash, DH took the can/recycle bin to the curb for tomorrow's pick-up. I did 4 computer letters, enclosing poems, etc.. I'd gotten published years ago. I sorted the mail with DH at my side sorting his. I got a lovely letter with a friendship greeting card from my BFF. She's such a dear, I met her on a crochet site, we've been friends for 10 years or more and as the years go by, our friendship deepens and is so much more sweet. It's so nice to hear praise from her, as to how encouraging my letters are to her. SHE does the SAME thing for ME!
Anyway, it's still sunny, DH finished getting wood, the news at noon is on, the neighbor's still bulldozing, and I need to put away 1 lol. I washed sheets, so we'll make the bed. I need a nap, but the bulldozing prevents that. I say "This is temporary; this will pass."

I was feeling so good for quite awhile, but then acid worked up in my tummy. I used Pepto-Bismol and it worked for a bit, but ended up eating Greek yogurt with some Optifiber in it and I feel wonderful- tummy-wise- now.

I hope DH helps me make the bed with him, so he's not doing it alone, since he's just worked in the woods and he's tired, too. Teamwork, I say! As I wave my sword like a swashbuckler!

Too many pirate movies of late on TCM.
I doubt that I'll submit any contest poem or greeting card poems today, as I'm tired. Perhaps after a nap I will.

I'd love to get to my outlining of stories, too, but the groaning of that blasted machine is annoying and interrupts my train of thought.

Maybe if I just "tune him out" and focus-focus-focus on my outline template, after I come up with good names for characters, I can do it?

It's such a good release for me, not only creatively, but also emotionally. Doubts or anger, etc.. seem to magically melt away when I put pen to paper.

I guess that's "The Muse"?
I got out a lined basket from my office, with papers in it, to sort through. I'll try to get at it this afternoon, in baby steps. This is my 5th day of 1-hour-a-day decluttering sessions, but today, I
know I need to break it up into smaller increments.
