I cannot express how much I hate these kitchen cupboards. I'm pretty sure they are sold (and possibly made) by a company called Rona and as a result I'm boycotting Rona for the rest of my life (it is like a Home Depot, only Canadian.)
So, after posting at lunch, dd called and said she'd be heading out in a short while to meet me at Solutions. So I went to straighten my hair and met up with her. I had a $30 return and then spent $300 on more possible solutions, this time for the bathrooms (which are also Rona, BTW.)
Also hit a dollar store, BBBeyond, and WMart.
After I voted (I never got back to the village so voted at the polling station in the lobby of the building) and put up a 'free boxes' sign in the mail room, we had dinner (cooked by dh) and I started in on the kitchen. I'm being delayed slightly by dh not installing the roll-out shelves but that's only a small part of the issue. The other part was that the pantry cupboard shelves are set at the wrong heights. So I laid the roll-out shelf where it was to go, put my tallest cereal box on it and made clearing that the height for the next up shelf. The top shelf would be in the highest position.
Then I got the tools to pull out the pegs and put in the shelves at their new height. You can't put them in the top position because the door hinges are in the way. I eventually succeeded by removing one peg, setting the shelf on three and then putting the peg back in.
The next shelf should be easy, since there was no hinge. Nope! It was worse, my 3 peg trick wouldn't work because there was a screw in the side stopping the shelf from dropping into place!
I lost control at that point. Dh came running and ended up doing all the work for me including installing the roll out shelf. I was so frustrated because he HAS TO WORK today. It isn't his fault he has to work (he is on the critical path for the project) and the mess is distracting him. I'm waiting on him for so many projects but adjusting the only friggin adjustable shelves in this whole kitchen should not require a man and a drill. And I took him away from his work for 45 minutes which makes me feel terrible.
Apparently, the only thing I can do is shop. Thankfully, dh makes more per hour than I can spend.
While dh was working on the shelves, I went down to the car, taking down a pile of destroyed-by-mover boxes for the recycle room and bringing up everything else from the car. I also took time to tidy up the car completely so it is ready for the bikes tomorrow.
I could manage all the boxes and the contents of the car because one of my purchases was a lovely, folding, shopping, trolley. Much easier to manage than the rolling metal shelves and it holds more than the dolly.
I've adjusted the shelf in the tv stand (that took 2 minutes because it wasn't made by Rona) and I've used one of the extra bed risers to support a plant in a too-large fancy pot. Plus I've laid the plexiglass on the table (I haven't taken the protective film off yet.
There's a load of laundry waiting for me to hang it up. The spin-dry on this machine is pathetic compared to my old one so I had to run it through an extra spin cycle. At least I have that option on this machine (spin-only.) That means I can use it to spin out the water on hand-washed items.
Oh, and I've figure out where my laundry baskets are going. That was a big issue.
Baby steps towards success here, not the thundering success I was hoping for this morning when I started the thread.

I filled it out with the things that are "bugging" me to get done, so it was good to break them down into 3 steps each. 
Might have picked up a 'bug' at the Dr. office? 
I redecorated 2 bathrooms, the small office, (so I can leave the door open on Father's Day now!) (it's pretty in here, in other words); I need to wash mirrors, counters, sinks, dump trash, DH will vacuum, and I have to tidy up baskets on an end table. DH will do toilets, too, if I don't get to them. The dining room table's all fixed pretty. I need to put totes of yarns away, too. I've got all day Friday and Saturday. DD arrives about noon - 1 p.m. My eating challenges, due to gastritis will hamper a splurge, which is fine since I'm feeling better on the gastritis diet and am losing weight again. I hope if DH goes to Costco, he can find something good to eat, like wraps or something, when DD is here. If he doesn't work in the woods, due to rain, he'll be going to Costco. There's a coupon for a larger wallet, zips all the way around, has compartments, places for credit cards, etc.. cards, and a removable wristlet. It comes in black, red or tan, so told DH if he gets it for me, "see" if the tan matches my day planner. This way, I wouldn't need to pack my big purse everywhere and can give my shoulders/arms a rest. I'd save the purse for trips or day trips out, if I need to take anything extra with me. I'd love to use the wallet as a clutch, since it's a LARGE wallet.
