Just now getting a chance to post.
I also found the messages in spam.
So far today I have straightened up for the cleaning lady, spent some time online then walked the ddogs. Then took Moses for grooming/spa appointment and dropped him off and filled out paperwork. Then to WF where I ate brunch (at 11:30!) and worked toward a plan for the day. Then a little round of odd errands - dmom's bank downtown, alterations shop, and grocery for a few things for Shabbat dinner. Ds reports that dd is coming home today - instead of driving she is taking Megabus home. (I can't figure it out - $28 for megabus round trip versus gas for a 200 mile trip, round trip?)
I'll need to go back out to pick up the Moe-baby and will drop off at cleaners then.

Not sure how to jump back in here after all this time. My life is in a season of change, and I want one of those changes to be more productive, more organized in my head and in my actions. I check in on you guys from time to time, and I feel at home here.
I'm working on routines which include decluttering, exercise, drinking water, and eating better.
Coming up today includes:
X Laundry
X Weigh In
X Work
X Dishes
General straightening up
Happy Birthday Helia

I really had an exhausting day yesterday and my patience is shot. I left here around noon to go p/u mother for her ophthalmologist appt at 1:30 - she had hearing aid and teeth in and was ready to go, but on the way to the appt she got worried because she hadn't had lunch so I had to stop off and buy Glucerna for her. Got to appt a little late, but didn't matter because the office was full of people and he was "running late" as he always seems to do. We didn't get out of there until 3:40 and I think we are ready to change eye docs for her as this is just ridiculous!
So I finally got her home, refilled her meds containers, talked to dbro about the fact that she didn't have enough $$ in her account when she told him to pay her CC bill last week, and talked to dbrother about dmom's poor dog. Dog has contact dermatitis and needs to get restarted on an antiobiotic and prednisone and zyrtec. Why do I have to deal with all this? He can't figure any of this out?
Then off to 6 p.m. meeting and texting w chair of committee - religious school director wants to be paid what prior director was paid, despite the fact that she is to be co-director with an individual who is on disability and can't get paid. Anyway, long committee meeting and finally home.
Dh was asleep on the couch - despite telling me he would walk ddogs he hadn't, so I did.
I'm so tired and whiny and I'm going to take a nap now. I do need to start the challah in the breadmaker a little later...

Oh, Golly Pete
Absolute intention of mentioning Mr. Guy first thing this a.m. Too much on my mind. Maybe I need strings on my fingers.
Mr. Guy - best wishes on an easy recovery. Go slow on the hurdles and high-jump afterward, please.
Hi, Debmaster!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, HELIA!!!
... & many more!
I had a rough night. It rained here, but sun breaks are here now, which is refreshing. I accidentally found a tablecloth & socks & underwear in the washer, forgotten from day before yesterday.

They "stunk", so I re-washed-2nd rinsed them. Now I need to fold & put them away.
Oh, when I couldn't sleep from 1:30 a.m. - 2:30 a.m., I thought I kept hearing a little puppy scratching at our back bedroom door, to get let in, & it whimpered. I couldn't open the door, because the nighttime alarm system was on, if we open doors with it on, sirens blare in the house, firetrucks, medic & sheriff comes a. s. a. p. So did NOT want to do THAT. THEN, DH moved, his toenails scratched the sheet a few times & his belly made a whimpering sound, so HE WAS MY PUPPY!

I laughed to myself & fell right to sleep. I'm happy there's no abandoned puppy.
Dgs is going home tomorrow, so today will be a laundry catch-up for him & us. DH wants to go to W-Mart, too, as his hot chocolate's out here, & he doesn't care for the substitute 1 he picked up. I'll get fiberfill & yarns for afghans, & stuffed toys for dgs's & dgd.
♥ ♥ ♥ Then, I'll be all set for the Christmas crochet gifts for Christmas in July crocheting.
I have such a cute kitten on my desk calendar called "Bug". He's 1-year-old, in a garden (was born in a garden, too) & he's in a little wheel barrow. Adorable photo.
I got both messaged,
Kathryn, & it seems like things are going right along. Is there a specific date for the move, too? Just curious. I may have overlooked a date.

Do we have an update on Mr. Emptynester?
Long day here. I've just cancelled dd coming because there is no point. Her dh gets off at 2 p.m. today and they need time together at home to continue to unpack. I'm miles ahead of her (and moved 5 days after her!) Not that I'm competitive or anything, after all, she did spend time here helping me (and I haven't returned that favour!)
Dh just took the bathroom door off and stored it. Ideally we'll take off the dining room doors too although we need a place to store those. The rule is we can take off doors but they must be stored in the apartment. It occurs to me that I might be able to tuck the dining room doors behind the wardrobe in the dining room (the leaves to the table are behind one of the china cabinets.) The only reason to keep the dining room doors on is when we have meetings here. That happens so seldom, I think inconveniencing us all the time isn't worth it for the once every 4 year meeting.
Need to get started on paperwork now. At least I took in the rent cheque on time!

Hello. Must be a lot of work going on behind the scenes here. Good luck with it all.
We just had some rain. It's been drier than normal for this time of year. I hate to see us get into drought again.
Went in to church for a mailing today. I was there about 1 1/2 hours, longer than normal, some of the usual people are away for the season.
Got some laundry done, changed bed linens, even have a pillow washed and drying now. Have the dishwasher running. I've done some more work at my desk, not nearly enough, but added to the piles there and took care of a few things. I must get back to that. Boy, I'm really struggling around here.
Was nice to see DebmasterX checking in. Also, HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO HELIA!
I just checked, no FB message from MT yet today.

Hi everyone. Yes I received the two e-mails you sent, Kathryn. Thank you!
Happy Birthday, Helia!
Quiet day for dh and me...ds, ddil and dgd are all at work. DgmaH (ddil's mom) took dgs12 and one of his dfriends to the pool for a while this afternoon. Dh has been playing card games with dgs and we all played Mexican Train dominoes last evening.
I was awake at 7 am this morning, ds was just leaving for work. After breakfast I did just a few things...let ddog out and back in, washed up dishes left in the sink, broom swept dining room, kitchen/breakfast room, family room and hallway, made our bed and wiped the kitchen windows. Dh cooked breakfast of choco chip pancakes for everyone.
((Twins's Mom)), too many extra worries.
Yes, I've been thinking of Mr. MT and Mr. Guy, also.
Ivy, I'm sure you will miss your dgson.
Hello to everyone......
