Well guess what? Right after I got out of the shower, ds called and said dcousin had sent him a text message that the music was cancelled at the thing!
Really last minute notice for him and anyone else concerned. He had been at a church thing w/dd & dgs -- "toddler time"
-- and said one of our music directors (also the school band director) said that our church praise band had already cancelled out on the fundraiser, b/c they were so hard to get info from -- wouldn't tell them time to be there, etc... Boy. Sounds like the thing was really run in a haphazard way. Anyway, I did not go -- none of us did -- and enjoyed just having a quiet day at home.

More in MO... if you're interested...
So sad about the fires...
I'm cuop backwards... in topic review... and I have got to figure out what this girdle thing is...
OH!!! The watch!!!
FF -- that sounds great! Dmil had a watch that sounds just like what you're describing.
Since I was finally forced to give up The Watch I wore since 9th grade...
I have been wearing a larger watch, and ooohhh... it is so much easier to see. I don't think I'll be going back to the dressy style, tiny watch I once preferred either.
