Late ci:
Busy day here, with the nursing home music thing, and then dgs was here until just a little while ago, when ddil came to pick him up.
I am just sooo tired, and sorta depressed and nervous. I'll take that all to J&C. Besides the fact that ddil got me all concerned, and then dh made it worse, I have ob-gyn appt tomorrow, and that always makes me nervous.
Not much to TA-DA about.

Still awfully humid here, too, Sunny, but we are supposed to have rain Thursday and maybe some cooler temps over the weekend. I certainly do not blame you for not wanting to have dgd walking 4 blocks alone to school! Everything is so scary these days.

Sending lots of "get well soon" wishes to Sadie's ds! So glad it was only an ear infection, but I know that can be awfully painful too.

FF, looks like you've had a very productive day, inspite of feeling under the weather.

Glad you're feeling better, Twins.

IKWYM re: being able to make some progress w/out toddlerN's presence, Nancy!

Good to be finding a home for FosterCat, Elizabeth, and btw -- I wanted to tell you how I really admire you for hanging in there and keeping such an amazing attitude w/the job search and interviews and everything. You are really doing an amazing job with everything inspite of sometimes discouraging circumstances. I just know things are going to look up for you in a big way eventually, and this will all be worth it.

So glad you found a replacement sweatshirt nightgown, Dee!

Oh -- I guess I have one ta-da -- I did my little 5-minute exercise routine this morning when I got out of bed, first time since last Thursday.

So glad your ds got in safely, Kathryn. I know it was a worrisome night for you.

(((Harriet))) for all the driving and hassle w/meds... Hope dd feels better soon. You are lucky to have doctor you like. I really liked my doctor all my life, and even though I was scared of lots of things, I'm sure it made it easier for my dmom in that regard. (I like the ob-gyn, but not as much as I liked his father, whom I saw for approx 25 years.)

* sigh * Me and my big mouth... I'll tell what ruined my night in J&C. Y'all pray for us, okay?

Having trouble keeping my eyes open so will head to bed. Have to take off makeup (that's new to me.)

Biked to the meeting (4 miles) and then dh picked me up and brought me home. Meeting was good. Dinner was a little too healthy. I'm still hungry, even after having a carrot and glass of milk at home.

My ta-da was phoning the gas company and letting them know of the move date.

Hi everyone! Late night check in. I have added 276!!! more companies to my job search master list. Not all of them will be suitable for me and not all of them will be hiring, but it is something to work with.

DD12 and I had a successful Girls' Night Out, going to the park, eating Chinese, calling my dad for his birthday, finishing homework with almost no problems and no explosions, rented and watched a movie, designed and printed DD an oversized shirt to sew, bodice ripping (in preparation for repairs), costume sleeves measurements taken. When I returned DD to the X, we realized that the homework had been left behind, so I had to make a double trip. Then, I retuned the movie and fed the car. I had to call my dad back to give him my birthday wishes. DD was so excited to talk to him, she took the phone before I had completed "Happy"!

One more thing I did, in the AM I NUTS??? category. There is another babycat in need of fostering. I am about to be down to one babycat, and she will want a playmate. Once all the adoptions are finalized, I will have 1 foster babycat, 2 adult fosters (including the 14 yo), and 1 permanent resident queen.

Here is what I still need to do: catboxes, cat meds (only one needs them now, and she takes hers easily), pin the bodice I had to rip, and take a paper from the crisis cleaning jar. That last item is possible because MY THUMBS FEEL BETTER!!! Not completely fixed, but in progress. I will definitely not do any weed pulling. As well as it not being good for my thumbs, it is pitch dark.
