Had a good sleep, am up and running, and did my scoliosis stretch. Need to do more stretches, yoga/Pilates moves, and walk again today.

KIC, I have a book on signs, symbols and colors pertaining to religious Saints, holy days, etc... I bought it from our Episcopal book store when I was illuminating the Book of Memories at church. Yes, I used to be a calligrapher and artist. I've not done it in years though. Loved to use the proper colors for the deceased ones, to use as a sign of the person they were, etc... It was so worthwhile and rewarding to do that. :D

LadyM, I ADORE your frequent short posts! They're like I'm really right there beside you, every step of your day! It's awesome! My (((LO))) to LO, too. Have a good time, enjoy that balcony, and all my best to you and LO today, too. ♥ :) :)

Dee, :P YOU are move-move-MOVING IT, GIRL! :!: WTG! It makes me look like a snail today! It takes a cup of coffee before I gain speed. ;)

Hi, Booksaver! :D After such a quiet weekend here, it's nice to see so many bright shining faces! Your week sounds busy! :!:

Hello, Emptynester! :D Yes, I remember you! Oh, my. Your surgery sounds painful. Are you awfully sore? :?: I hope you'll heal quickly and hopefully the "smarting" part goes away when you move, etc... GET BETTER SOON! :D

Twins' Mom, Sometimes Mondays, especially, are hard to get up and get moving again, especially after a weekend! Hope you get moving like you want to later today, too. :)

Harriet, Thanks for the opener. Gee, I wonder where you got it? It's motivating though, isn't it! :!: :P

DH went to his drug study appt., needs to increase insulin again, although they say it's being increase very little each time. My annual exam is a lot later in the week, I'm all ready, but need to trim toenails. All the paperwork's done, but need to update the day planner, with appt.'s, in case I'll be making any appt.'s that day, so DH's appt.'s and mine don't conflict.

It's sunny here, they said it might be 86* today, and the birds are wonderful this a.m. I'm working on October b-day and wedding anniversary cards, then will put a post-it note on each card done, to tell me what date to ship them out on. I need to be organized with a colonoscopy, 4 birthdays coming up in Oct./Nov. 3, and bone density test, working on stories and Christmas crochet. It's nice to be busy, but.... I need to slow down and journal once in awhile to get grounded again.

Waving to Lucylee, Nancy, and those coming after me. Have a Super Morning, Everybody! :D

I ran over past BOTH because was in the middle of the brownie recipe. Finished, and they are cooling and I'm giving myself my 15 minutes down time. Challah is going in breadmaker.

When timer goes off will work to BOTH again - need to finish a.m. routine and dailies and I have a li&t going of household type things to do before the Rosh Hashanah holiday, hopefully.

I hadn't called doc office about script because it was between 12 and 1 p.m. when I had thought of it - just got confirmation that Caremark rec'd it so I'm good there.

Emptynester, that was a report that was a lot more  than I thought it would have been. Wow. I totallly did not "get" that it was this big a deal. I'm assuming since you're saying you can sneeze and cough without pain now, that another way of saying that is that it was really smarting for a while?!? So grateful you are home in a cozy recliner. What a suggestion to Mr. Emptynester just to go get a photo for the dr. LOL. Hmmm... .. puts in a new light the thing we often say to those who go through a sickness and could use a positive thought: "Well, at least maybe you'll lose weight." Was Dakota aware of all these remarkable goings-on? I imagine you have two attentive housemates.

Yes, I don't think we realized that MT's was getting rid of 4 pounds of fat the hard way. Glad you are healing and on the road to recovery and out of that comfy chair!

I need to work here at the desk for the next round, I think.

Gentle hugs (((MT))). Get all better soon.

Set up our new coffee pot and dh has taken the old one to storage (just in case -may take it to the yard sale next summer). (Typing with a splint on is not easy!) Now I have to figure out how to use it. :? It's a dual for either 1 cup or a pot on 2 sides. Can't figure out how to remove the k cup part to use my own coffee. Wait for dh I guess.

Just did up the few dishes I had. Haven't decided what to do for dinner. I'd like to go early to a restaurant & come back for dessert. Have 1/2 a lemon pie (that was very good -M arie C alendar's) in the fridge -just enough.

Dniece called about 1/2 hour ago & was around Waterloo on the NY Thruway. DH told her how to come -the easy way, but longer. So I'm now figuring about 4/4:30. Told her it would be a long trip. And they have to turn around tomorrow to go back.

You're right, MT, rig is easier (must admit it looks quite nice). Sure they're picturing a regular RV -not. But we sure don't have a lot of room for overnight guests -especially the adult kind. Grandkids can fit most anywhere.

I never did get to go to the laundry room. BUT it's sorted, in the trunk of my car & ready to do tomorrow. Did get the car vacuumed though.

Found a long grey skirt to go with my 'dressy' top yesterday. Do need to press it. May do that while my laundry's twirling tomorrow. Hope it will do. Was looking for black & there was one in black but really liked the grey.

Hello Dear Ladies,

Sending hugs and prayers to LO, Lady M and Mr. M. Hope everything goes well.

The town had the annual festival over the weekend and of course it rained every day, it does that every year.

Dson-18 is still fighting an ear infection, has had to go back again because it is spreading not getting better. Might have to go in today too because it is not getting better at all despite antibiotic and drops.

Working on laundry right now. Bought new sheets and I washed them before putting them on the bed. Know I will feel like royalty when I go to bed tonight.  I love the feel of clean, fresh, new sheets.

Paid some bills today too and did some swapping around with them. DH has had work but some of the client are slow to pay.

My shoulder/arm feel good right now. When I first get up it doesn't feel so good and I do things really slow for awhile.

Going to have to move some of my things around today too. I have a room that I use for sewing, a place for my electronic keyboard and have three full book shelves in it too. DH is needing it for some of his equipment he just bought. So going to move some things out temporarily. DH wants to build a bigger shop sometime, hopefully soon and then I'll get my room back. In the meantime, when Dson-26 moves to North Carolina, he is taking some of his stuff with him so I can claim some of that space too.

Laundry twins are calling.

It's 3:45 and still no company. I really think she didn't believe me when I said it would be nigh on to 7 hours. She was in Potsdam at 9:55 this morning. Have no idea when they plan to leave, but we have a Dr's appointment at 1 tomorrow. Oh, just called & I heard dh said he'd be right down to let them in. Not going to get guest passes until I know if they're staying overnight. Ta-ta for now.

MT - glad your surgery went well and recovery is going smoothly.

LO is in surgery now. They said to expect an hour. They let me go with him into Operating room and stay with him until the gas mask put him to sleep. There was 7 medical people in OR standing around waiting for him to drop off to sleep.
