Nancy, We got snow about 5 times last winter, but never any more than 3" or 4" and it usually melted off with rain, or by the next afternoon. It wasn't too bad, but one Christmastime, we got 28" - 32" of snow! We had to postpone gift-opening because of the deep snow. We ended up having our celebration the day or two after Christmas and Dson came on New Year's Day. It was nice to see the snow "go away" that winter because I was getting cabin fever. I was able to, however, write a good short story about 2 married retirees who got on each others' nerves during a snowstorm, but it ended great, with them loving each other after all, especially since there was the birth of a new grandchild in the family, during the storm, about 75 miles away. It was fun to write that one.

I walked 30 minutes, I have 9,951 steps at 9 p.m. So I'll make 10,000 steps most likely before I go to bed.

Talked to DD about her and DGS coming to Thanksgiving. She laughed and said she was having coffee with a gal friend this morning, when DD said, "I think my mom's going to call me soon, to invite us over for Thanksgiving dinner!" So, when she answered her cell tonight, she was laughing about it, because it became true! ;)
