DH bought some navy fleece sheets, with 1 set of fleece pillowcases and 1 set of silkier pillowcases, all in navy. We washed them, he's drying them, and we'll put the new sheets on our bed today. Tonight's or a.m. temps will be in the 30's. We want to keep warmer. I get cold, then get up way too early.
I changed clothes into black fleece pants (without the cuff), a red turtleneck sweater, and cream-colored cardigan with an Aztec-like pattern on the sleeves, and near the hem of the cardigan. I feel so warm and cozy. It's so nice to feel comfy, when it's a cooler day outdoors. You can almost smell or feel ice and snow, and it's not even made its debut.
DH had to increase his insulin-diabetic drug combo in the pen, up to 48 now. It slowly increases because he tends to have higher blood sugar. He gets up in the morning, with high blood sugar. I know everybody's so different, too, who are diabetic. It's very interesting how everyone varies, from person to person.
My book was shipped, should arrive in 3 days, I'm a happy camper, so want to get housework done, etc... so I can feel like I can allow myself some time, to set aside and read on and off.
How many of you are going to be in that Polar Vortex?

We're in the Pacific NW, so it's supposed to by-pass us, go to the East of us, down in the U. S. and wow. The temp predictions are so scary.
Blessedw2, That is totally unfair about those sizes. It's so odd, for just myself, too. I can be a 12/14 on top in a tee from Walmart, yet a top, which is dressy, from another store, can be an 18/20. Dmil used to cut off ALL the # tags, showing sizes. She did NOT want to know the #, because it sometimes made her feel bad.

And, I've lost weight, yet still have 3 Muumuu's in a size Large, but have 2 Medium Muumuu's, and keep them all. I can wear nightgowns under the ones, which are larger, and I figure, it's just 1 letter or 1 number size down, so what does it actually matter? When I was 30, I had an eating disorder, Anorexia, and it was terrible for me, for our Dfamily, and Dfriends. People were so concerned, and it's so hard to gain a foothold over such an evil thing, that has its grip on you. It distorts your thinking, terribly, and you suffer so much with self image. Sad.
Blessedw2, What do you set your timer length for? I have 45 minutes in the office, for the laptop usage, but 30 min. in the kitchen, for walking. When I do shorter timed jobs, I go 10 minutes or 15 minutes. 1 timer is so loud, it kind of hurts DH's ears, because it's a high-pitch ringing. The other one's quieter, so I use it nearer to him, because it's easier on his poor ears.
Harmony, It's very thoughtful of you to cook for Sandi and family. ♥
Kathryn, I'm so glad you're off that drug now!
I'd better get my brain moving now. I have some things to do. I want to lay the groundwork today, work tomorrow, and tidy my office today.

I can hardly wait to see what the mail brings today, too. Oh, I've got snail mail to do, too. Oh, I guess I'd better make a little list or go check my PODA!
