I saw a post on FB ook earlier that listed all the stuff closed in the Niagara area. Meals on Wheels was even cancelled. Then I saw a post from my bank stating that most of their branches were closed in my area. I've never seen banks closing.
Wayne came home while I was sleeping. His jeans are soaked and they are hanging over the shower rod. He couldn't get into the parking lot, so he parked at a nearby store and walked home from there.

Hello dear ladies
COLD here!
Our warm temps have left for awhile. It was 13 this morning and won't get above freezing today.
Tomorrow should be warmer. Guys are discussing the Super Bowl a lot today. I rooted for Pats and they picked Seahawks so I did the victory dance last night.
Working on laundry and kitchen today. Dh made spaghetti last night and what a site the kitchen was.

Hello! We are overcast and have had a little rain. It looks like more coming. I should not be complaining to all you snowgirls!
I am up and doing a few things. Just emailed a statement. If I sit down in the family room I will likely go back to sleep, so I am trying to stay busy.
The snow sounds really pretty, but I guess I will take my sunshine here.

Feeling quite miffed at dh. The snowblower wouldn't start. Argh!!! It is almost 20 years old. It's not like we can't afford a new one. Dd16 said she feels the same way about the lawnmower, which she uses to mow the lawn. It is also ancient and a little difficult to start. Dh and his love of old machines. So. . . I did what I had to do and hand shoveled the entire driveway. It's not a small driveway either, has extra parking spots on the side. Dd16 did eventually come out and help me. It was especially tough where the city plows had dumped icy heavy snow at the end of the driveway. I did not shovel out a parking space for dh because I was feeling irritated. . . I have until Saturday afternoon to do that anyway. I told dd16 she could do that if she wanted, and I think she's still working on that. I am now hot and sweaty. My hair was sopping at the edges when I took off my hat, and I can feel the dampness in my turtle neck. Sorry if TMI. I certainly worked up a good sweat! I think I'll count this as a work out.
Ds has emailed about lunch tomorrow - he usually meets with dh but I meet with him instead when dh is out of town and I'm available - and about help with a letter he's writing re: a short missionary type trip he's taking over spring break.
Drinking water and eating popcorn.
Next:
- update laundry
- make my bed??
- 1 hour NY cards
- 1 hour teaching prep; I'll probably start with reading a chapter of a book

Home again....don't know when dh will come home but will spend some time with him when I do. I did stop off and load up on groceries. I'm supposed to make soup and challah for the Friday night dinner at temple so I went ahead and got most the ingredients in case time is short later in the week.
I took harness off of dMacs and washed it in the washing machine and it's hanging outside to dry. It didn't smell very good - I think I'll run the washer with hot water and some bleach on a short cycle before I put out clothes in. I need to do some delicates but would like to wait until dh unloads his things before doing much laundry.
Need to walk Moses next, I think.

My dh is the same exact way... I have gotten in the habit of moving ahead on the house stuff though. I have been wanting a electric start roto tiller for years and dh has pretended not to hear me. The only reason we have an electric start newer (5 years old) snow blower is the old one couldn't be fixed anymore. The riding lawn more is more than 20 years old and gets repaired every year.
Hi d twins, d helia, d sadie stay warm, hi d Harmony, Hi d Cathy stay safe too, hi lilac too!
it's 2:45 here already - I have an hour until I have to meet up with dd younger.

Yep ditto on the old mower just bc h could get it to run cough and spit n sputter more like, barely got the lawn mowed until I took him out and said listen to that it was 15-20 yrs. Old and not accaptable any more I was mowing and needed one that would start and run & be reliable. Sigh.
Now I am back from feeding chickens lunch and started another load of laundry noticed the washer had leaked so that has to dry out ack! It does that some times especially on the lg. Loads. We just have cold water to the washer so should have that delt with.
ToddlerN is here loves my new wagon & small tote I made this weekend to put toys in.
