I totally agree that i have been a long day!

We are Great Grandparents again! DGS19 second child was born today. Another girl. I will have to practice to correctly pronounce her name Nausicaä Aurora. I'm not even 60 years old yet and have two Great Grandchildren. I haven't wrapped my mind around that yet.

Today is the very last day to move from our old home place. Tomorrow morning we sign the papers finalizing the sell. I finished moving the last load at dark tonight. DBros horse & our donkey were moved out of the pastures today. We are DONE! DONE!! DONE!!!! I find it a bit embarrassing to think how long it took us to move. We have been in the process of moving for almost 4 months!!!! How is that even possible? I'm just so very relieved to be done.

I visited the banker this morning and chatted about what we want to do with the lump sum received tomorrow. it is "get in line" time for pay-offs. Everything goes to the bank but we will receive some loan papers to burn. :)

Tonight I've been sorting through keys and warranty papers to hand all those over tomorrow.

In between other things today. ...I took LO to Doc appt for his ear tubes (has been a year since his 2nd set of ear tubes was put in). One of the tubes has fell out (a good thing) and the ear is healed. The other tube is firmly in place and working. Doc will give it another 6 months then check it again.

LO requested 3 stops while we are in town to do some fun activities which we really didn't have time for …..however today is Spring Break Day #3 so doing 3 fun things seems appropriate! I'm glad we took time to do them.

Dgd18 did take the 2 little girls to see Cinderella on Saturday. Dgd3 fell asleep before the end. So tonight dd1, her dd18, dd2, the 2 little girls and I went to see Cinderella. Dgd3 fell asleep right before the prince put the glass slipper on Cinderella's foot.

I think what made this movie so special to me was that Lily James who plays Rose on Downton Abbey was a beautiful Cinderella. Sophie McShera who plays Daisy on DA, was one of the step sisters. Helena Bonham Carter was the fairy godmother and she transformed into a beautiful fairy godmother. She usually looks so ragged in all her movies, but this one she looks beautiful.

lucylee, if your ds and ddil ever have a daughter, your dh will be nuts over her. I can see it now. I was surprised at how many daddies were there plus I seen a few grandpas there too.

Dh grilled steaks tonight.

Dh has decided to go to the chiropractor and quit being miserable. I hope someone can get him in soon.

It got up to at least 89 today, so it was hot and windy. We didn't go ahead and wash the car. Will save that for when there is less wind.

LadyMaverick, it took us a full 6 months to finish our move, from the time we moved in, until we closed on the sale. If we would have needed to be done sooner, we could have. I just think if it isn't necessary, you just stretch it out.

Good morning from St. Patrick's Day!

Woke up at 4 a.m. perfectly awake despite going to bed close to 11. Got up at 5, disturbing dh while I dressed, then I headed up to the Lido Deck. I knew my internet friend from the Crystal forums would be there and sure enough, he was the second person I approached. We chatted for a while and then I watched the sunrise off the aft of the ship. A wonderful start to the day.

I'm busy reading my second book because that's the first one for the book club meeting. Sigh.... Started it last night and almost 1/2 through it.

This morning is Bible Study at 9, in the saloon. Trivia at noon. Book club at 3:30. Dinner at 6, big St. Paddy's day show at 8:30 and singing in the pub at 10. I'll nap once I finish reading.
