I really like coming here what I forget seems someone else remembers!
I just turned off the noisey news, skipped knitting bc it was so noisy at the cafe` seems to be bugging me more with the ear issues I've been dealing with. Time to head back out for another round weeding next up.
Lunch is over.

Still very little progress here...
* small load of laundry completed
* long conversation w/dmom
* short messaging w/ds
* email to d utch g low company -- they sent me the wood polish/cleaner I ordered, but it says spray, and there is no way to spray from the bottles I got. I know I could probably just get a generic spray bottle at wmart, (although I wonder if the polish would be too thick or something) but wanted to see what they would say about this. What I got is not what is pictured in the advertising.
* walked away the pounds 15 min
* drank almost a pint of water (so far)
Oversharing... am I the only one, or are there others of you who put stuff out here, in our little village, that you wouldn't necessarily want to share at the family Christmas gathering, or at Sunday fellowship dinner, or in the workroom at the office? Surely I'm not the only one. How does one KNOW when to shut up?

Still trying to send out emails.
It is 11:30 here and I've been at this for 4 hours now.
I can send a text email but not one with photos. So dh tried if from his machine and it detached the photos from the text so the text made no sense and 12 photos were missing from the attachments.

Lucylee, I love the quote and I always loved Little Women.
Harmony, right now my schedule is making my head spin, in fact, I just took some ibuprofen. I need to leave again in a minute.
Got dmom to doc, meals at JCC weren't ready so I'll have to p/u tomorrow and go see her tomorrow also. Will have a full schedule tomorrow for sure.
Gotta run.

Nancy, I like to come here, too.
upcoming here are the visit from my cousin (tomorrow?) and dd35's family coming in Fri night. I had the front part of the house perfect for my cousin last time she visited. Though we had lunch together and I drove her around, she never came here, but visited others. She's coming back and the house is messy and the grass has been growing and not yet cut. Plus I have a new set of priorities for readying to spend a weekend with so much family. Sigh. Frankly, this time I'm hoping to discourage her from coming here. Bad attitude, huh? I thought to myself yesterday, this cousin has not been without a maid since birth and probably does not understand getting a house ready for company. Her maid is the daughter of her late mother's maid. So I'm thinking, oh what-ever.
Things I thought to do today to get ready for all the little boys include
All the church work I can do ahead of time for end of month is complete and everything regarding it is put away in its drawer until Monday. 5 envelopes ready for mail and 2 in pouch ready for delivery at church.
Online order of bday present.
Picked up some gift wrap after the school run.
Picked up one pair of shorts for dd, though we tried valiantly for other garments.
Then P.O. and bank.

The house is a pit after all the outside stuff I did today but it sure feels good to get it done! It is raining so my timing is great! May have found a farm home for some hens to cull. 12 eggs today however!

Thank you for the kind words & friendship!
There are tornadoes on the ground in our area but all is well here. I am loving the Birthday House with access to cellar from inside the house, As the storm got stronger, I opened the cellar door and turned the cellar lights on so we could just run down the stairs and slam the door if needed. I think the worst of the storm is about over. I am very pleased to see I have clear viewing access in the direction the tornadoes normally travel. My confidence level goes up when I can see them. I'm going to watch for another 10-15 minutes then get LO into bed. This was our first spring storm in this house and I did the prep by myself. I am hoping I secured everything. Guess I'll find out tomorrow what (if) I missed doing something.

Oh, LadyM -- that's scary! Good job on making your preparations, though! I wish we had a basement or something, but at least ds will have one soon.
So... I guess I really AM the only one who worries about talking about too much personal stuff?
-- sheesh -- I bet our guests get a lot of LOLs out of all my anxieties, anyway.
Went to Easter egg hunt at church and brought dgs home with us so ds and ddil could go out and eat.
