Septic tank problems are not fun, LM. Nausea is listed as a side effect of prednisone for both canines and humans. Ds had to take it for asthma at times, but I don't think he ever reported stomach upset. LM, fever is also a possible side effect according to this: http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmedhealt ... de_effects

I have not been productive here at home, but have knocked a few things off of to-do lists:
-dropped off the file cabinet at the Goodwill; they took it! and my car isn't squeaking anymore!
-took lamp for repair
-called durable supply pharmacy for new mask and water reservoir for CPAP, and since it was in stock I picked it up
-walked through Target and got something to take to dsis tomorrow (Easter metal pail, grass for it, a couple of small candies and small stuffed chick) and cookies for the nursing home staff

I did not get the car washed - the place I normally go had issues with its machine that takes your $$ and lets you in, so I told them I'd come back another time. I realized I didn't have Armor All in my car, and I usually at least do the dashboard and what I can see while I go through the car wash, so I'll do it all another time.

Hi everyone. Jumping in where I am as I haven't been here in a few days. Relaxing a bit before starting dinner. Sipping a diet c oke for the caffeine as my not-enough-sleep-last-night is catching up to me now. It has been a productive day, & included some housework, grocery shopping, & a nice run in the park with ddog. Got home just as it started to spritz a little rain. I think more is on the way & wanted to give her a good run before the ground gets wet. Last week she found several puddles & her legs, feet & tummy were a muddy mess. Fortunately I always keep a towel in the car, & a blanket for her to lay on so the seats stay clean.

I'm pleased that I have put every last grocery item away, including packaging & freezing some meat & cutting up a cantalope & a rotisserie chicken. Took a little time to organize the pantries & freezer a little. I did a big clean up in those areas a few weeks ago so maintenance was quick & easy.

I spoke with dh over the weekend about our basement remodel & how we have been procrastinating on moving forward with it. We both agreed that the extremely cold winter made it easy to not want to spend much time working down there. We pulled out the calendar & are planning to devote most of our free time in May to this project instead of the occasional Saturday here or there. Fingers crossed that everything gets done by the end of this year!

I'm off to cuop for a bit & then start dinner. Waving ~~~~ to everyone! :)

Posting on phone -- first chance I've had today when no one needed me, and dh has Braves baseball on the computer.

Calm, cool... Yeah... I'm heading over to prayer requests...
Tomorrow is another day.

Lucy, be sure to tell dh we were at the Braves game on Sunday. Perfect day, not so perfect game, but overall, I can't complain. If every spring training game was like that, I'd be there a lot.

DH says we are going to spring training some day, Twins. It did sound like y'all had a great day.
Also want to go to Disneyworld again, when dgs is older. And now... MORE older, LOL.

I've done all the laundry today, in spite of having my shadow on my heels for about 4 hours. Also went back to drug store -- one RX wasn't in yesterday-- and we've eaten supper and kitchen is clean. I'm going to relax a while w/Jerry lee Lewis book.
Tomorrow is another day.

Lucy, there aren't many things that I consider "bucket list" but going to spring training is one of them, because as a CPA there was no way I could ever get there. So nice now to have the freedom to go.

Isn't retirement just the most wonderful thing EVER, Twins? LOL!
I'm glad I taught as long as I did, and I'm just as glad that I didn't wait a single day longer to give it up!
Tomorrow is another day.
