Just a late night ci: to let y'all know I'm still alive...

Sooo, sooo happy about the wonderful news for Sweet Caroline! Miracles happen every day, don't they.
So nice when we get to witness one like this.
I actually feel somewhat productive today.
Yesterday, I was pretty much over the stomach bug, but I took it kinda easy anyway b/c dgs was spending a few hours with us last night and I didn't want to get myself over-tired or something.
Today... hit the ground running w/errands and misc tasks:
* s2s, Bible reading, breakfast (only a banana & diet coke)
* print out
20-page 
gift registry from Wmart for dcousin...
(3rd cousin? Her grandmother & my grandmother were first cousins. Her grandmother, however, and my ddad were approx the same age, and she is some 30 years younger than I, former student, I stay in touch sporadically with her dmom (also a former student) on FB, etc. I'm not really EXCITED about going to a wedding shower Sunday afternoon, but OTOH, I do love spending time with this side of my family; they are all a lot of fun to talk to and we don't see each other often.)
* post office -- where I got yet another wedding shower invitation!
* talked to dmom
* drug store
* Wmart,
printed out the second registry there, got both gifts
* doctor's office
for dmom's rx, and assurance that insurance info for myself had been taken care of -- which I just found out online, is not true 
* drug store to drop off dmom's rx
* home
* back to town about an hour later, to meet dmom at bank
and get that check she had promised me but had lost (It's still lost; they stopped payment and reissued another check)
* finished vacuuming living area
WOO HOO FOR ME!!!
* supper w/dh
* phone call w/bug lady
who is coming tomorrow
* phone call w/ds
re: dgs who has strange rash, and re: bug lady who we will schedule w/ds in a few weeks
So. I finally had something to post here!
(Besides my usually whining and complaining.)
And editing at 1:30 a.m. to say I have now finished vacuuming ALL the floors in this house!!! * EXCEPT the utility room,
which I forgot I had not done earlier w/the kitchen, and I had already put away the vacuum cleaner. So I used the Swiffer in there.
Also just added 3 receipts to the Wmart savings catcher.
