Well, I'm thinking that I can't believe I missed
Kathryn & Ken's anniversary, b/c I had been looking back at post from one year ago, two years ago, and I
knew it was coming up!

So, a belated happy anniversary from me, too!
Also thinking about
LadyM and the storms all around. Saw some of that coverage last night on tv.
Thinking how nice
Elizabeth's new car is! And what a neat way of looking at car "personalities" from
RunKitty!
Thinking
Mr. Lilac is doing GREAT -- but it is a good idea to stay close by one more night.
And thinking
Mr. Dee sounds like he is doing great, too!
Thinking my allergies are driving me nuts, and next week is the 3-day outdoor festival... but do I really want to make the trip (an hour away) to see the allergy doctor and possibly get a steroid shot? No... I don't think so... So far, my only real symptoms are itchiness... ears, throat, etc... I really only want to deal with the steroid shot when the runny nose, watery eyes become uncontrollable. But I keep thinking about it...
Thinking dbro & his gf will be coming in tomorrow and I'll have to try to schedule around their activities, and church and long Sunday meal w/dmom...
Thinking I absolutely HAVE TO do some exercise before dh and I go out tonight. I am not going to let myself be a slug for three days in a row.
Oh... and thinking I apparently cannot sleep unless a sports event is on the television. Spent a lot of time last night just staring at the ceiling. Then this morning when dh got up to watch college softball tournament, I was out like a light.

Just saw a post on FB from LadyM and she's out celebrating a birthday at a local restaurant so evidently all is okay there.

LOL, LucyLee! Maybe that's what I need to do when I can't sleep?

I challenge you to 10 minutes of exercise RIGHT NOW. She says impishly. I'm going to do some walking about the house if nothing else. House is big enough that I can do a pretty good clip.
EDITING: Did my 10 -actually about 12. Not nearly enough but better than sitting here or reading. Will try again for 5 or 6 minutes in a few. Have to rest my back first.

Dee, is there room in the master bedroom for a recliner? Either a new one or move the one he has broke in? I am sure they have a TV in there that he could turn on for white noise. I wish that solution would work for both of you.
I am still in shock that dh is out of the hospital, but that is not a complaint. I have started organizing everything, so Dd and I can load in the morning.

Quick check-in to say hello. We are ready to leave in a few minutes for dgd17-K's spring concert, her very last one. Talked to ddil-D and she said to come early for supper then we will all go together. Fine with us, no cooking !
Happy Anniversary Kathryn and Ken! You have all year to celebrate till the next one!
Lilac, that's wonderful news that your dh is doing well enough to come home!
Dee, it's good to hear your dh is doing well!
Harriet, these flowers are some kind of iris or lily or ??? I've taken a picture and will try to post in Outdoor Spaces.
Dh is ready to leave....rush hour has already started here!

Happy Belated Anniversary, Kathryn & Ken. I'd looked at the calendar a couple days ahead, then it just went out of my brain....
Not having a real good day here. Paperwork scramble in the office with DH. I learned a long time ago not to bother him when he comes in from work at the end of the day because he's too tired to deal with anything, especially my questions. So today that caused major upheaval around here while we tried to make statements without the information...
Let's just say I'm not a happy camper. Problem is deemed to be mine...for not doing my job... well no matter that I don't do some things that will result in growley faces

... and of course I'm too thin-skinned
says he
So I'm off to create another spreadsheet and see if he will just fill it in at the end of each day... or do I have to ask and endure the growley face
Lord, give me strength.
Lilac, I'm so happy you will be soon on your way home. Such great news!

Lilac: i'm sure your dh is happy to be out of the hospital. Remember that he's still under the pain blocker they gave him for the surgery and should probably start to feel for real about 48 hours after the surgery. Which, if I recall yesterday, is actually tomorrow during your drive home. Be prepared for him to be uncomfortable then.
Dee's dh just went through the same post-op 'feel great' day one, awful after that, so the warning is fresh in my mind.
I went out for a walk around the block. Partly to get away from the noise, partly for fresh air and sunshine. Unfortunately, they were mowing lawns where I headed to so I cut my walk short and went to the park to swing but it turns out my neighbourhood park only has baby swings. So I walked back to the building. Only 2000 steps but better than nothing.
Back to the mines. I've put Mr. Beethoven back on and perhaps he'll keep me on task. This CD is symphonies 1 & 2.

Bless your heart, Lilac. Dsonil does have a recliner in the living room. When the time comes, dd and I hope that he'll move it in the bedroom. I have even thought that perhaps I'd offer ours to go in the living room (it's really too big for me!!) But in the meantime, he was told today that next week they'll have him working 7am - 4pm to ease into the shift change. Who knows? maybe they'll like him on that shift. And btw, Kathryn's advice is right on. I was going to post just that -that nerve pain block is wonderful until it wears off. Dh found that out the hard way. How many hours is your drive? Hoping for comfort for your dh on that ride.
I need to find some little thing to eat. I'm feeling a little bit on the low side and it'll be 7pm before we eat dinner at the restaurant.

We are just relaxing at the hotel. Dd is reading, dh is dozing and I am cuop. This sure beats doing the same in a hospital room.
Talked to dsisil last night. She said she had had a B-12 shot yesterday. She thinks she is hateful when she is low.
