I am getting no where fast. The car service dept told dd that car needs a valve replacement but that it can "probably wait until next time." Of course, that set me off considering I am setting out on a road trip, so I called to talk to the guy. DD doesn't want to do it today because she wants to do other things and it just makes me edgy to postpone it because I am on the road so much.

And of course, that is why I was not happy with her not coming home until Friday because I could have done it last week without waiting until the last minute. I know I haven't mentioned that before, have I? only about a hundred times.

I ate a lot of crap and now my tummy hurts and I don't want to do anything.

and obviously, I feel whinny.

Two steps forword, one step back.

The weather forecast shows high chance of rain the next 6 days so I decided to switch my focus to outside chores. I hopped onto the big mower and mowed one area before moving onto the next area. BONG! I hit soft dirt and with no warning, the mower ended up buried to the axles. I got a heavy pole and tried to raise the mower enough to move it over but it is waaaay too heavy. Ugh. I'm going to have to ask DH to get the mower unstuck.....I hate adding more to his heavy workload.

I vacuumed the pool. My goal was 80% improvement and I think I met that goal. I'm still in newbie learning mode because I want to go fast and get-r-done, but the vacuum seems to work better when it is moved slowly.

Called the pool company and they are coming back out tomorrow. The water in the hot tub isn't heating up....even though the controls say the heater is working.

Called Doc office and moved DH appt from next Thursday so DH can attend LO end of school program.

Served leftovers from yesterday for lunch. Easy and quick.

Scheduling snafu with toddlerN I am out of the loop. So far she is a no show the step mom said she had a doc apt was with a cousin's they were to let me know & drop her off I have not heard from them. Wondering if I should take a walk or wait sigh oh well I got the living room spiffed up and dusted, bedroom vacuumed & dusted it looks better upstairs now yay. I need to continue working on getting the dining room table cleared off and the kitchen could use some attn. As well. If I keep moving that helps.

I need a plan for dinner working on the home blessing now.

Bikes are in for tune-ups. We went to the grocery store and picked up food for dh's dinner tomorrow night (since I'll have the car and his bike will still be in the shop.)

Then we walked home. I've been taking a few minutes to sort through that pile of mail. Nothing significant in there.

I'm going to switch to a different purse for the summer. Something smaller so it will be lighter.

Rounded up some stuff to declutter in the creativity room shoes mostly.
I vacuumed in the creativity room and master bedroom, sm trash can full from de-junking the table.

Moved the table loom. Out of the living room side table cleared off dusted some books loaded after sorting to deliver. Considering yarn to go from a failed project. Tossed non working watches tired of dealing woth those. Yea me.

Kitchen counters still need a bit of a spiff.

I need to regroup and get rolling again. After I posted earlier, I laid down on the bed and read awhile and had some toes up time. Then I headed to temple to sign cks for religious school. I stopped on the way home to get gift card that I needed to get for co-director P (who does not take a salary) and realized I didn't have my wallet, so came home got wallet and went to drugstore for gift card. Fixed it up with a handmade thank you note and dd is taking it to P tonight when she has supper there. Glad I remembered that I hadn't done it yet.

When I leave here in the morning I will need to stop at post office to mail sympathy notes and perhaps other mail.

There are still quite a few things I need to do. I have a last lol going, ds never did get his laundry started. I am hoping that my car is fine for this trip; they did take care of a recall on the air bags that I had forgotten about. I don't know if we will take my car to the beach (because it has more room) or take dh's.

Right now:
-fix up an envelope to send ck for stamping up order when she gives me the total
-empty the dishwasher
-10 more items from my desk gone
-10 more items from kitchen table (this is stuff that came home with dd )
-clean out my car

So I finally blundered through that round and ate leftover eggplant parm for my supper. Dh is bowling, dd is at P and D's and ds is studying for the engineering exam he is taking tomorrow.

I need to write a couple more notes and finally get geraniums into pots by the firepit and water thoroughly. I am also starting a list of what needs to be done in the morning.

Dh cooked dinner. I opened up the mail while he did that and then entered chits into Quicken after dinner but before walking group. Dh came with me but there was just one other person so we sat and chatted in the lobby and then walked quickly around the block.

I cleaned up the kitchen, emptied the garbage, picked up today's mail, and took a load of stuff to the car and brought the dolly up so all that will be left in the parking spot is the tires once I leave tomorrow.

I need to open this last bit of mail and then finish up and fax the form to the US Accountant.

Well toddlerN never did come the communiation skills defiantly need improvement on the dad's side! I lost Friday & now Mon. Hrs. This week as well.

I did get my walk in but felt like I was "on call" so did not get to a couple of errands that would have been good to do. But the good news is that I got more done on the upstairs than if I was doing errands and it really needed it.

Sorry for whining I seem to be in a "mood".
H is home now & dinner is done.
Took a walk.
I have started on another room I am on a roll.

What better place to whine than here? Because we understand! So vent, whine, brag, complain, rejoice -whatever it is you need to do -this is the place!

Had church council tonight. Think we set a record -the meeting lasted 23 minutes. Talked with dh for just a little bit as we both were watching DWTS. He made out well at the orthopedist today. Dr. saw him walking in the hall and noted, "You look wonderful!". Did tell dh absolutely he could not go into the ponds at our campground for several weeks -warding off any possible infection. Just told him to baby his knee and not put undue pressure on it -no heavy lifting, etc. But other than that -he's back to work tomorrow. He said he went to potluck tonight and there was a record number there. He was sure over 30. We usually have tops of 20 and more like 12-15.

Dh picked up wave petunias and decided to plant them on the berm. JUST got them in when it poured. Wondering if Sunny got any of those severe t-storms over her way tonight. Missed us, but know it was going on over toward Tampa.

Hoping tonight is a better sleep. I'm so tired of spending half the night awake. I slept great until about 2 and was awake until after 5.
