I'm exhausted so will take a nap now.
My physio appointment was very successful. I have a new torture (exercise) to do but as promised, she took away an older one so I should still be able to do this in under 30 minutes. This one doesn't need much set up so I can do it without having to take off shoes and pants, pulling out the mat and getting my timer set up (I'm to do it until I can't do it any longer.)

I fell into a genealogical rabbit hole. Or as they say on one of the genealogy Facebooks that I follow, I followed a Bright Shiny Object. In today's mail I rec'd a requested copy of a death certificate for a woman with a name corresponding to dh's great-grandmother and BINGO! It is her. Wonder of wonders! I posted it on Facebook earlier and some of dh's cousins are confirming the details and the cemetery. So I'm spending the afternoon sending copies of it to dh's cousins et al and trying to craft the source citation to get it into my database.
Oy vey. Ds just asked about supper. I had indicated earlier that I'm making supper even tho dh isn't home - I have chicken in refrigerator that needs to be used and I'll have the rest of it (if I hide it from ds) to add to salad this week.
Getting moving again.....
-hang the delicates that are in the washer, start a load with white pants that s/b washed separately
-finish putting away the groceries
-marinate chicken and fire up the grill
-purge refrigerator

It's fish & chips for us tonight. I think I'll have the chips since walking club is after dinner. The meeting point has moved from the largest building to our building since all the walkers but one are from our building. That makes it easier for me since I'm always late!
Had my nap. Feel less dragged out but not energetic yet.

I'm home. Tired - but safe and glad to be home. From here to Boston is a long busy drive. I think I've missed some stuff here in the PWYC Village. . . . .
I've emptied dd17's car, except for ds' desk chair. He wedged the box between the front and back seat so tightly that I couldn't easily remove it. He decided he didn't need it in this place, so I brought it home, along with one large duffle bag, most of his bedding, and his pot and pan.
I really like Cambridge, MA. It has been a long time since I was there last. It's a very pretty area. The Boston area seems more like a European city than some other cities in the US, which maybe is why I like it. Where ds is working is called the NERD site for this company: New England Research and Development. LOL! I think they purposefully created that particular acronym.
I had a headache off and on all weekend too. I didn't take any Advil during the day, especially driving days, but I did take Advil a couple nights to help me sleep. I think it is a sinus thing for me.

Great acronym!
I love Boston too because of the English feel to it. Love NYC as well - urban but with 'neighbourhoods' so it isn't overwhelming.
Walking home today through residential streets, then park, then pathway until I got to the transit station (and then pathway along the apartment buildings until I'm home), I really appreciated living here. It is a nice mix of high density and medium density housing, tri and bi-plex homes and then single family homes.
Walking club was tonight and so I'm at 10K steps for the day. The route we take is just under 4K steps. I wasn't sore at all tonight so there's an example of me getting stronger. Those little signs are what keep me going with the physio exercises as often as I can manage.
