Hi, blessed. How is it going with the nutritionist?

I had the same problem with my dh bringing me a "treat" (usually a maple bar), LadyM. I appreciate the thought, but I told him I really didn't need the junk food. Now he brings me berries from our garden or berries and cherries from the farmers' market. Those plus one piece of home-made bread a day are all the treats I need.

I had a great long run this morning. I am defeinitely getting stronger... :D

Way to go LadyM! You made a plan and stuck to it!

I'm finding it easier to stay on track now that dh and I are on the same page about eating well. (Recall that his A1C was 8.2 at the end of April.) He is still wearing the Freestyle patch that reads his blood sugar all the time. He's trained himself to eat better by watching it after he eats a meal. He's finally running better numbers and he gets his A1C checked again this week or next.

Thanks to coming here, I checked my steps and realized I didn't put my Fitbit back on when I just changed clothes. I'm at 4/7 of the 7K goal for the day. With the dog's walk later and maybe an extra lap or two I should be good.

I just looked at my Excel spreadsheet, and in spite of myself I'm still down 1.5 lbs since 31 May, and 12.3 lbs since the beginning of the year. This is comparison of the 10 day moving average for each date so it takes fluctuations into affect.
