WTG, Dee! Yes that counts! We had a prolonged battle with ants at our last house. Honestly, I felt like they were in the siding. We finally changed exterminators and whatever the new one was using, it worked. I think I have a nest in one of my flower pots in front. I need to figure out what I need to do about them.

I stopped a little early, had been on my feet and my back is hurting. I've folded all the laundry and put away, and hung the line dry things that were in the washer. I did some plant watering but need to finish, and still need to cut up some veggies. I packed up the return but need to pack up the DNA kit to send too. So I'll go again at :15 after. I need a shower too before we go to temple.

I was waiting on watering more outside to see if we got rain. It's been thundering around out, but I don't think we got much, if any, rain. On the radar, it looks like it's already mostly moved through.

I was at a stopping place a little early so I'm resting a couple of minutes, then heading to the shower. I think my headache is better but my back is hurting. My weight is not at a good place! And having almost 9K steps today has worn me out.

I had some iced coffee when I took tylenol. That may have helped the headache.

Today, my focus, is what are the worst jobs that I don't want to do? -I find if I see a job as draining usually means I have been looking at it too long and making the job out to be bigger than it is.

did the put away from he kitchen - :D
now for a put away for the stuff that needs to go upstairs
clean the upstairs bathrooms.

dh is happy again - he spoke to an old friend from work. It changed his whole disposition!!!!

Dee… we had those tiny ants at our rental home.. the pest guy called them Ghost Ants. Our yard was full of them and I showed him where I though the major nest was. He said it was the largest nest of Ghost Ants he had ever seen and this guy was no spring chicken.

These little fellows found their way into the home through cracks in the foundation. Sweetie spent several days removing all the grass, weeds and debris from the foundation. Then the guy came back and sprayed again. Don’t know what he used but it killed the nest and the ant population began to dwindle. We had him treat the yard every month while we were there.

The 'pest' guy showed dsonil where several of the nests were up in the crooks of the branches of their 3 oak trees. Hopefully this will be 'once 'n done'.

We've been getting things around for tomorrow's yard sale. Hopefully we won't have rain, though the high tomorrow is only about 67F. I can deal with it as long as there's no rain. If we can sell even a 1/3 of what we have I'll be happy. The object is not so much to make $$ but to get rid of it. What's left pretty much is going to charity. I did find some books in the storage unit that I want to read. Have some more up there I'll take to G oodwill as well.
