Re: SATIATING SATURDAY
Blessed - Congratulations to your DNeice engagement!
I am feeling greatly relieved. I have made remarkable progress on homeschool research & planning. I have the first draft of High School transcript with all the classes DS13 will take for the next 4 years. I have selected curricula for all the 9th grade subjects we will be doing this school year. I have the first 2 weeks of homeschool lessons planned for 4 of the main subjects. I'm going to stop working on this because my brain is feeling kinda fried from working FULL OUT FOCUSED for hours. I want to walk away from it for a few days and then come back with fresh eyes and see if it looks as good as it feels.
I took DS13 to a friends house. He lives 8 miles from our home which felt like further because of the rough country roads. I'll go back and pick DS13 up in a couple hours.

Re: SATIATING SATURDAY
Forgot to mention it was my 50th class reunion I skipped it
just was not up to it the socializating driving my self figuring out what to do with the dog.
The questions about lh & parents heat advisory plus I was in the middle of the painting project.
I am happy with my choice it was what I needed time to regroup refocus and get grounded.
I watered the plant cage the front and side yard, put the sprinkler in the back yard just now.

Re: SATIATING SATURDAY
I am bushed from all the work in the office. I stopped and made dinner and cleaned everything up. Very grateful for the nice pieces of baked chicken I had in the freezer. We had Spanish rice (from a mix, it was good) and lima beans. Nice meal didn't take long to make.
Fell asleep in my chair.
I think DH is encouraged to clean out...is talking about how to do the shop. He's talked about this several times recently. Tonight he was saying how we could move to a rental, clean out the shop (sell stuff, garage sale, etc. etc.) and build us a small little house. He had been saying to move into a condominium and I told him I didn't know if I would be comfortable there, I want the privacy of a single residence. I lived in a 4-plex for a couple years one time and I didn't mind it, but wanted my own place where there wasn't so many rules about what I could do.
So if we do this, we'd be moving twice with a building project in between. So much work, and certainly not cheap. I suggested moving to a pre-owned house and remodeling but he was thinking he'd never get one as sturdy and good as how he builds. I had to agree, I'm spoiled with the houses he's built for us.
So I guess we'll see. In the mean time we'll work on cleaning out some stuff. If the rest of it doesn't come to being, at least we'll be ahead of the game all sorted out. I think he's encouraged because he might get to build once more before he quits. We hire out all the hard stuff anyway these days.
I got concerned that I'd let too much time go by and didn't get his license renewed so I went and checked on that. I have until the end of NEXT month to do that so we're still good. Phew!
Lucylee, glad to read your DMom is doing better now.
Blessed, I think you have as much property as we do. Ours is about 1/2 an acre. Each lot here is 1/4 and we have 2. I can't imagine having that many gardens here as you do, though. Maybe we just have more grass.
