(LadyM). That's unbelievable. So many things at once. Maybe you need to wave a green set of leaves around your house? What is it those people use to get rid of evil spirits? I don't believe in that, but sure makes one think! I'd be more than upset cause I don't know how to fix any of those things.
DH is upset about this work on the back porch. Not the work, but the fact that he can't do it and I am struggling my way through it. He kept pulling his chair up behind me on the ladder and that was making me nervous. His idea was that if I fell I'd fall on him and he'd break the impact for me. I told him NO stay out of my way. If I fall off the ladder I need him to be in one piece to be able to take care of ME. So then he moved back.
We have good ladders and I feel safe and secure there. It's just hard with all the up and down.
He went off to get paint and came back with a quart. We talked about all the things I'll be painting. Tomorrow morning he's going back to pick up a gallon. My goodness paint is so expensive these days. Then we discussed what we'll be doing with the cement slab and the 2 other slabs right there, to fix some cracks and make them match. He completely forgot we had discussed doing this many times. After much discussion we have a plan. I told him, "you tell me what to do and what to use and I'll do it". His knee is so bad he can't really do anything much.
I want this done before the holidays and before he works on getting his knee fixed. I will be much too busy then.
