Okay I guess I am bringing up the end of the day here. There's been no time to get here until now.

LadyM, when you thought you were beginning to get sick, it was probably stress from all that has been happening recently. I suspect you keep going on auto pilot and don't realize when some things affect you. I sure would have caved under the load you've been carrying recently. Glad you feel better now. And BWTG with the kiddos. You are their miracle worker, they are so lucky to have you.

Dee, glad your DH has had his test. How scary to not be able to find him to pick him up.

It was an early morning. I had my study and we needed to get there a couple minutes earlier than usual because of the way they're starting everything now. More people showed up to our group and the room was completely full. The chairs are very uncomfortable and my back has been hurting from my work on the porch. This didn't help. I found that I was glad to just be done and able to leave the room. In our small chairs side by side, the ladies on each side were on the big side so I had to keep my arms close to me. And I have a bit of claustrophobia. It usually doesn't bother me but it did this morning.

DH wanted something for his electric buffer and I tried HD but nothing there, then he told me to go to the auto parts store which was hard to get to from where I was and I had to drive a long way down another road. They didn't have what he wanted either. I did bring something from HD though it wasn't what he wanted... and he did make that work. But that ate up the time I would have used at the supermarket to get done before the rains came. I am tired of getting soaked so I came home to wait until the skies cleared.

Lunch and nap. Then I ran out to the store almost dinner time before I got out. I'm tired of these all afternoon rains every day. Got what we needed (couldn't wait, we have a breakfast to attend tomorrow and I'm taking fruit salad) and came home. Brought something easy for dinner, DH was pleased. Made the salad tonight. Ran dishwasher. It was making noise so I tackled that next. Unloaded it and began scrubbing the soap dispenser which is clogged with crusted soap. I used vinegar, stuff to scrape, then I tried CLR, none of that worked particularly well. I'm having problems getting the dispenser door to latch shut without pushing on it really hard. I will put a question to anybody who reads:

What do you all use to keep the inside of your dishwasher clean? I changed soaps and this helped, but I sure need to do something with it. I'm running a sani cycle now and it's not making any unusual noises.

I think doing the porch has added a bit too much for my life right now. I'm too old and unfit to work hard like this day after day. DH and I had words about the floor work. He's changed his mind several times about how he wants to do this and I don't do well with that sort of indecision. When I have a plan in my brain for something, I can deal with it...but changes annoy the heck out of me.

Ok, bed time. We have to be out the door at 8:00. Why do I sign up for this stuff? We get so little socializing that I think we need to do something. This is our old group at church. I guess I'll just come home and nap.

After all, I ran the sweeper after the dishwasher stuff and mopped the hall and kitchen. Time to stop.
