I had planned on making dinner - 4 eggs are left. dh has 2 eggs every morning so that went out the window.
I am not sure what I will make for dinner.
Having a shower after getting all dirty in the garden just made me feel so good.

Aack, so sorry, bw2! We buy a lot of eggs here - they're a go-to breakfast protein.

I've spent the afternoon upstairs and after sitting at that desk a very long time, I have some hope of eventually focusing and working again. My brain has been so scattered for awhile.

This kitchen project has been rife with instances in which they thing we were asked and replied, and we have no memory of being asked. Or we stipulated and they don't remember. And same between me and dh. It's wearing. Today they said that we were asked about the lights in the top cabinets and wanted them at the top in the back and I don't remember that at all. Why didn't I realize it when they were being installed and say something way back then?

I stopped working upstairs to try to pull things together downstairs. I need to work on the house a little and pack. Dh wants to get away by 8 or 8:30 in the morning. Since I've been getting up around 7 that's gonna be a stretch...

Today HRH's snail mail password from AT&T arrived. I checked back through our posts here, and they said 48 hours on Sept 2nd, so that is considerably more than 48 hours. In fact, it's really ridiculous.

But what's worse is that it doesn't work, and even though they were on the phone with him as he tried, they take no responsibility for that, either. HRH was on the phone for ages again, with each new person starting from ground zero, having to be told everything again. They are sending by snail mail again, insisting this is all they can do. What on
EARTH are they talking about. They insist they are sending these by another method, too, so he should be happy.

But it's by email! The whole point is that he's called them because he can't get into his email. Why can't they understand that? This has been the consistent, recurring problem for both of us for months. He hasn't been able to see his email for 11 days and will wait an unknown number of more days now.

I often was losing my service, too, over these months, but thankfully haven't recently. The last time they gave me a new password over the phone as before, and the fellow said just don't even chance changing it to something more convenient - put up with the one he gave even though it means nothing to me. So, I have. But now they tell us that you can no longer just call and request someone help you with a new temporary password. New rules.

IF this does happen to me again, guys, and I find myself in the same situation, I won't have email for an unknown span, either. Something to think about.

So sorry for the headaches some of you are dealing with… (((Twins)))… (((HRH))).

I went to the doctor. He says bronchitis. Gave me a steroid shot, rx for z-pack, and refill on cough syrup.
I imagine that shot will kick in soon, but right now, I can’t hold my eyes open.
Tomorrow is another day.

Harriet, why don't you set up a new gmail account and start to transition over? You can leave the old account in place, and when you get access to it there's a way to forward emails from the old account to the new account. You could start the process with yours, and change his over hopefully when he has access? (but you have to enter password to forward mail, will that work?)

Lucylee, not COVID? Hope you are feeling better soon! Get a good night's sleep!

DGS25 started working for Att 4 weeks ago and has been in training. I was astonished by how many rigid rules they have for their employees.

DD11 and I went to 9 places in 4.5 hours. I'm glad to get all those things accomplished and off my mind.

I had a piece of Tuxedo Chocolate Mousse Cake for dessert at lunch today. It was a chocolate lover dream.

Twins, he didn't even mention Covid and they have signs all around about wearing masks and making sure you don't come in with symptoms, and I admit, a persistent cough is probably something most people would suspect, but, whatever. I don't want to be tested and he didn't seem worried about it -- maybe because this has been going on for over two weeks with no fever and not much change in condition?
He is well aware of the allergy problems in my family, (dmom and my ddad had similar allergy complaints) so that is always the first diagnosis for me -- especially with no fever. And TMI, but my secretions are clear. I told him, I just wanted him to listen to my lungs and make sure there was nothing more going on. He said no signs of pneumonia, but what started as sinus problem had problem become bronchial trouble.
I didn't expect the z-pack, but if he thinks it will ward off future infection developing, maybe it's a good thing he gave it to me.

Also... the steroid... y'all my weight has reached a new high mark and I have GOT to get a grip on this. I hate to admit this, but I am 5'3" and I weighed 180 Sunday morning.
Now just think what this steroid shot is going to do to this.
I'm sharing because I am going to make y'all help keep me accountable:
NO MORE NIGHT TIME EATING. I plan to fast from 8 p.m. -- 11 a.m./maybe noon.
Also -- following atomic habit advice to "just show up" -- even when I am feeling sick AT LEAST 5 MINUTES WALKING/WALK AWAY THE POUNDS DAILY.
I have printed out a habit tracker for these two and I plan to report in to y'all each day also.
Tomorrow is another day.
