Thank you, all, for all your thoughts and prayers in advance of dh's heart procedure tomorrow. Just looked at his chart and it no longer says "PM" but says procedure in AM. That's good news as he'll be able to go home hopefully later in the day. Much better day tomorrow. Thursday is supposed to be just plain nasty! When dh talked with the hospital today he told them he was supposed to have had a refund for the $$ he paid them when he went in for his second cardioversion in October. As she looked she found it and said that he evidently had $$ floating there. They did take $90 as his co-pay when he was in ER 11/17. So she told him to be sure to tell them when he checks in so he probably won't have to pay the full $375 tomorrow. T'would be nice. I would think he'd still owe $90 and that would be fine.

Think I'll go work in our bedroom for a while. I have a bunch of stuff that simply needs sorting, storing, donating, trashing. You get the picture.

WHB - well I have 1/2 a WHB done so far this week.

Dinner and dishes done.

Showed DH around, his organized closet and drawers. He is totally not interested in clothes. Never wants to get dressed up, wants to be comfortable in his old work clothes and that's it. He gets into clean decent jeans and a golf shirt for church and that's about it. So he's looking at the sox and oh my there's too many dark dress socks, here's a package not even opened give them to one of the kids. Trouble is, their feet are size 14 or more and these socks are all 9-12. So I'll take them up and tell someone to take it and give it back to me on the sly and I'll donate it. I ask him if he wants more white work socks, "no I only need enough to get from one laundry to the next".

If we all thought that way, how cleaned out would our wardrobes be?!

Sure happy to hear Harriet's latest news. May it continue like this or better.

I go to the dentist tomorrow early afternoon. Here I go again.

Lucylee: I'm glad your dh was seen and has meds to take.

Mine said he got short of breath walking up the 3 flights to his hotel room today. I pointed out Covid attacks the cardiovascular systems so that's why he needs to treat himself well and not push himself. People who experience what he experienced today and then work harder to get back to being fit are showing up in the studies of for long covid or post covid heart issues. His arthritis in his hands is really bad as well (painful to remove rubber gloves for example.)

Dgs was lots of fun today. But he didn't sleep for long, waking with violent hiccups. Fortunately, I got 40 minutes of deep rest (and the rest of the time he was down had reset the kitchen so was ready for snack time later.)

I took him to his mom at the hospital rather than have her drive here and then join rush hour traffic to head home. It took me 2x as long to get there this afternoon at 3:20, than this morning at 7.

Dh had a conference call at 4, so I went to IKEA and picked up some things, then picked him up and pizzas for dinner.

The apartment was trashed when we walked in because I hadn't picked up before leaving with ds. All is back in place but a FisherPrice airline captain is missing. Surprisingly, all the creche scenes are complete. He loved playing with them. We also read books, one of them at least 15 times, another 8 times.

I'm exhausted so am giving up and heading to bed early.

We're getting the same storm on Thursday (later in the day, through to Saturday), up to 10" of snow. So tomorrow is the only day to run errands. Dh will take some books back to the library (there are 6 of the 14 we took out 2 weeks ago that dgs isn't interested in) and get the car washed.

I still don't have anything for dgs for Christmas but it is too late to get anything ordered in now (the storm will delay things further.) The book dgs loves so much is available online but delivery will be "as soon as December 30th" so it wouldn't be for Christmas. I'm waiting to hear from dd if she needs anything from the same store before putting in the order.

I need to order dh's birthday present. It won't arrive in time either because it is a custom order.

Got the birthday present ordered. It might actually arrive in time (fingers crossed.)

Also found a used toy plane for dgs. So now he has something to open. The pickup is in the area of town just beyond dd's so that means I can drop off the presents I have for the kids.

Now to head to bed.

For a bit, I was feeling like I was coming down with something. Getting these two gifts in hand make me feel a lot better.
