tossed a lot out of three season room food/fridge - so much waste - when I buy too much or dd's buy too much then it is above my visual clutter and I can't think-I don't cook then. I plan and plan and plan but do nothing. one meal at a time will be my goal. feeling better that I am at a place I can handle again.

I will say hi again in a bit. I feel my ADHD brain being on overwhelmed. Goal: finish fridge. what I feel like doing is sitting down with a book even though my body says I need to move - maybe I will do a little line dancing to my work.

took dd older's cookie decorating stuff and tossed the remainder of the colored frosting. I am soaking the tips and washing the cookie cutters.

Got the planning underway for the party. Emailed the exec, chatted with the office (while looking to see if anyone turned in my lost glove yesterday) and discovered we only have to move chairs, not all the tables so that helps with the number of people I need to help.

I have drafted the email to the general membership.

Still need to make up a poster and get it up in all the buildings.

Also need to update the Facebook Group.

pulled a staple out of the steps found the right pliers for the job.
Got the rest of staples out of one step. I will continue working on this no rush it will
make it so much easier to sweep & get the dust bunnies off of them.
Did some journals most done.
jSnow has stopped not stuck on the road.
I shoveled off the deck and patio for some of my steps.

Put away some more stuff on my creativity room desk.
Mixed up dog food she is pleased with that!

And I waxed the jacket. It's an old Barbour that has held up and needs periodic waxing. I got a new hood for it and beside the hood it looked pretty bad. I was thankful for it at the funeral last week and it works well for a trip too. Thanks done.

So far I have 5K steps and 7 of 7 possible. I'm going to stretch my back, and then read a bit. I have laundry in the dryer I need to fold later but I need a break.

Okay, finally dh is out of surgery. Things went well they told DS-R. After DS was able to see him they have decided to keep him overnight for observation. We're kind of glad for that. Next is to figure out how/who/when will pick him up. (Just now talked with our dfriend and she says she'll pick him up and she's only 10 minutes away.) I understand that after the procedure he was out of Afib. Now for him to get healthy and gain strength.

Thank you for all your prayers and the waiting room set up. It sure helped knowing friends are near. Found myself praying, crying and holding my breath off and on all afternoon. Did take just about a little more than 3 hours. I'm sure he'll sleep a lot now.

DD11 is home from school 1.5 hours earlier than normal. Tomorrow they dismiss school 3 hours early. DD11 said they didn't do any schoolwork today and tomorrow is all party.

I got a notice that an unknown device joined our network last night at 9:30 and was downloading off/on until 12:30 am. I was becoming concerned that our network had been hacked. DD11 admitted that it was her using an old tablet. I can shut our network down during the night but sometimes DH wakes up and watches TV (streams online). I'm sure there are ways to harden the network security a little more but it a fine line where the restrictions have a negative impact on our usage. Hum....thinking...

Tonight is the yearly caroling event. Our church will have a couple of long flatbed trailers for everyone to ride while going from house to house. They stop at the homes of elderly, and everyone jumps off the trailer and goes stand in the yard to sing a couple Christmas carols. Then everyone runs back to the trailer and piles back on and the pickup pulls the trailer to the next home. After caroling at a dozen homes then we serve hot dogs, pizza, and hot cocoa.

Just checking in on Mr. Dee! So glad to hear the procedure went well and that they'll be keeping a close eye on him tonight.

Dmom is determined to come home tomorrow. That's okay with me, I guess. She says she will be fine. PT talked to me, said she was having some problems with balance, occasionally, but the lady didn't seem ready to argue with me (or dmom) about it. They'd "like to have her a few more days" but if we want to take her home, that will be okay. Sigh. One never knows really what to do.
Trying to get her an appt to get her staples taken out. Family doctor doesn't want to do it. Surgeon said family doctor would do it. Tried to get appt with surgeon, office closed before nurse called me back.

I've done one load of laundry -- still need to hang it up to dry -- and have two more loads to go.
DH is still feeling awful, not sure if it's the antibiotic, or the Mucinex, or the steroid shot... but he says he is so weak he can't stand it.

I hate all the frustrations that the missed tickets and everything has caused several of you, but I must say it is reassuring to see that everyone has these mix ups. I think dh worries about me sometimes, and I am ten years younger than him!

He is trying sooo hard to get to the Christmas play tonight at church. I am keeping dgd here, because she is not cleared from her bout with the flu. DGS said if only one of us could go, he would pick Granddaddy, "because he has been so sick." DGS doesn't know that he is still sooo sick.

LadyM -- all our schools are doing is partying, I think. They dismiss early tomorrow and Friday. DGD missed her party today. Seems like most kids check out after the class parties anyway.
* I dreamed last night that I was teaching and I fell asleep while letting my class watch a movie. When I woke up, there were two supervisors from the board of education in my room and they were obviously displeased with me. Even in my dream, I was thinking, "Who sends someone to do an observation the week before Christmas vacation?" LOL.

Question -- what does one use to "wax" a jacket? I'd never heard of that, Twins.
