He's going to be so surprised to see DD, Twins! Sorry your dh has that dreaded Covid -here's hoping you don't catch it too.

Just talked to dh. He was concerned as his boarding pass still says row 18/middle seat. Told him they'd give him row 5/aisle when he gets to the gate. That's the seat dd has paid for and she'll just trade. He did tell me that the Metolazone that he's taken for years and the hospital took him is evidently because they think it's affecting his liver causing liver failure. Also took him off atorvastatin. Dr also told him he wants him wearing compression stockings from now on. Dsonil was questioning why dh is now so weak and having trouble walking. Trying to tell him as best we could. Hoping the Dr wants testing in a few weeks down here. Though I think we'll get him set up with a Primary down here and hopefully he will order some. He will have to have a lab test in a couple of weeks for the H Pylori infection they've been trying to treat through all this. Life is definitely going to be different.

Oh, I know what the object is in Elizabeth's bedroom. It's a piece of exercise equipment. Speaking from experience here. We had one type in last house, which became my clothes rack. So, I managed to give that away and then a few years later DH takes an elliptical from someone who wasn't using it because it was damaged and not workable. DH got online and got new parts and fixed it up and we both tried to use it. I could only get about 3 minutes - maybe 5 - then DH with his hips couldn't use it, so it sits in the corner and occasionally I dust the thing. He's put it on marketplace trying to get rid of it, to no avail. We don't know how to rehome the thing. Anyway, my vote is some sort of exercise stuff. From what I've read this is a typical problem in bedrooms.

Right now I'm so woozy from allergy med. I've slept all evening. But I got a lot of stuff done and coming home I was walking slower and slower thinking I just couldn't keep doing all this. I got home and DH is there with all the reinforcing metal for inside our fence posts. I called over to him to come help and he said I'm working. I told him I needed him please come. So he unloaded the car for me and I managed to help put everything away.

First this morning I went to our business bank. I hadn't put in a claim for our business mileage this whole year so I figured that out and got a check written and cashed it. Enough cash for all the Christmas gifts to the poor Grandsons who are getting themselves through college. My personal bank is also closed with damage. I've been unable to get my debit card activated and need them to do it so I have no way to get cash. So this will work. Got gift cards for some others. Shopping is just awful here right now. I went up to our mall and the one big store I usually found most of my things is all cordoned off from the storm damage. A few more stores closed off, nothing going to open till Spring. I found one thing for DSiL. Then I went to another shopping center to see a nice store there still closed from damage and another clearing out their merchandise and closing that location. I think I have something for everyone but it's really been tough this year.

Met my girlfriend for lunch and the noise inside the restaurant was bothering her (sensitive ears) so we sat outside in their patio where the sunlight was bothering me. Gave her cookies. She got the last Christmas tin I had. I got take along plastic containers for the rest of the cookies. There are NO Christmas containers anywhere in our town to buy.

Well I think I need to go to bed...I'm not even reading clearly now.

Oh, YES... an exercise bike!!! We have one too!!! It makes a perfect clothes hanging rack!

Oh my goodness, y'all... it has been a day. Very efficient, stops planned in good order, finished up with early supper, sliding into greasy hamburger joint for dgs and dh JUST FIVE MINUTES BEFORE THEY CLOSED, and found out they only had THREE burgers left -- just what I planned to order... shaking my head. That was a huge stroke of luck, because before going there, we had spent OVER THIRTY MINUTES in line at Ch*ck F*l A and dh just absolutely HATES that place (not because of the food, but because of the lines.) Also, dh had sat in the car most of the day, while I made 4 shopping stops -- 6 counting groceries and post office! He was exhausted.

After getting home, we got dgd, went to see the trees on our courthouse square... dkids acted like... kids... and I was totally exhausted when that was over (but it was my idea to begin with!)

Took dgs home, kept dgd, wrapped presents forever... helped dgd in bath... re-organized shopping list and tomorrow will be a busy day of it too. But tomorrow will only take me to Wmart and D*llar Tree... and probably groceries for dmom.
I am still trying to "even out" things for dgrands, and it is a tough task. Neither will say ANYTHING they want!

OH -- and if you are hoping to get take-out from Cr*cker B*rrel... well, don't get your hopes up. They are not taking any orders past Dec. 23... so I don't know WHAT we will eat for breakfast at dmom's on the 26th. (I am hoping that after the 23rd, they will open up orders for next week.) Dmom doesn't want to deal with all the meats, but she does want to host Christmas for dbro, dsisil, and our family. We may end up with biscuits from H*rdee's or a W*ffle H*use Christmas like Bill Anderson sings about. (Google that/YouTube if you want a smile.)

Mainly, I just wanted to say I am soooo HAPPY to hear how things are working together for the DeeClutter family!!! Christmas blessings.

And Twins... at the risk of sounding mean, TwinsDad having Covid just might get you a little much-needed quiet time, right. Unless he works you to death doing the fetch and carry routine. (((HUGS))) -- and I do hope he has a mild case.

Hi everyone! Madly getting ready for tomorrow's travel. Well, today actually, since it is 12:07 am. Last night I posted late and didn't realize until reading today that I never did define my mystery item that is in such demand. It is the two step stool DD20 used to get to the sink when she was DD1. After she was done using it, I realized it would be perfect for the resident geezer kitty to get onto the bed. Since then, it has been used by many geezer kitties and one tripod. Since I have no geezers now, friend N has designated it "not in use" and up for grabs. However, I am sure other geezers and maybe even tripods will arrive at my house in the future. Also, it is the only place to sit down in my bedroom and is the perfect height for putting on and taking off shoes, thus it is used twice a day. It is hardly a thing of value, but you can't loan or give away other peoples' things! It is also futile to try to guilt trip me out of it. And I will not be badgered into attempting to justify to others my desire to keep something that belongs to me! To top it off, even if I had been trying to get rid of it for a month, I would not drive across town and back to do so while I am trying to get ready for a trip.

G wanted it for a geezer dog to get onto her bed. She wanted to try it out to see if the dog could use it. I pointed out that it is too slippery and the steps are too small. I have been left alone since then. I have not actually heard from G. All this is through N, who seems to think she gets to decide how I am to use my own things. (She is the one who wants me to take the camper to places I am not comfortable). What a ridiculous farce this is!
