Even though I spent most of the afternoon -- or so it seems -- just sitting at Wmart, I still feel like I have had a DAY.
Let's see --
* Calls to Wmart & to ds, confirming tires delivered and informing ds I could not pick up dgrands at school
-- after working all night, ddil had to return to Next Town for gyno-appt and wanted ds to drive her. She made it okay on her own though, and even managed to show up at Council meeting tonight at church.
* 2 hours at Wmart, shopped for a few things I had missed yesterday, including gift for dcousin's baby shower Sunday (but ended up having to do it online, and hope it arrives as promised on Saturday!) YES, Cathy -- that IS their "sneaky" plan. DH was complaining about it when I got home, but I really did need all the stuff I bought, except the Turtle Chex Mix...
* Post office
* Wrote check, paid bill for allergy doctor
* Talked to dmom
* Home -- talked to ds again
* Went out with dh to pick up supper -- RUSH --
* Council meeting (I was a little bit late to the meeting, and it was exhausting to me anyway, because the preacher is full of plans that sound like lots of work and does not want to have Confirmation class till fall probably and I'm aggravated because dgs needs to have that class now. I know he is ready to make the commitment to join the church and publicly profess his faith; I am not in the least concerned about the state of his soul's salvation -- but he I think he is putting this off until he has a chance to go through the class. Preacher said they usually wait till 6th grade, so I guess that will be all right if he does wait till fall. Sigh.)
* Talked to dbil, he came over & got basketball tickets and paid us for them
Now I just want to sit down and eat some more Chex mix and chill out, watch some of this ballgame and read. (I am reading on my phone, The Flight Attendant, a murder mystery that was on HBO or something a year or so ago -- I did not watch it -- but it starred one of the girls from Friends, I think. The book is pretty good.)
All that other stuff is just going to have to wait --
[ ] laundry,
[ ] change sheets,
[ ] take down Christmas,
[ ] slice a HUGE ham
All these anxieties and aggravations really seem small when thinking about what Dee and blessed are dealing with all day every day -- much love and prayer for both you ladies, your dhusbands, and all your families.

Shower sure felt wonderful. I had to bring the vacuum back and do a good part of the bedroom again. Our shingles evidently lost a lot of their little tiny stones which washed down into the gutters. Does not speak well for the longevity of the roof, although this does not show at all. These little stones were all through my clothes and getting ready for the shower, they fell off the clothes. So, all vacuumed again.
I did a manicure and a pedicure (sort of). While I was doing all the hurricane cleanup, 2 of my toes got stuff dropped on them, and I just kept on working. Apparently smashed 2 toenails. And as I was working on them, coming off finally in layers, I discovered the damage was actually on 3 toenails. So after soaking my feet, a good bit of layers came off. So, not very pretty toes, but now they feel kinda wonderful and a lot of the dark nails are gone. Someday I'll have brand new nails on 3 toes!
Lucylee, DH has been known to buy tires and have them shipped here. He used to just have them mounted on wheels and bring them home and put them on a vehicle. Yes, a lot of work and bother, and tires are heavy, especially his big ones for trucks. We did save some money, but it's a lot of trouble. These days we go to WM and get tires. They don't usually take too long, and we usually have something we need to buy there anyway.

Dh and I finally came up with a system so that we could work on the passwords as we get time and not have the other duplicate that work later. So that's progress.
On the other hand, I think we've only done 30 passwords so far. At times it is really hard.
And I messed up the SHE password change and got locked out.
Thankfully the password recovery worked after 6 tries. (3 not knowing which email account was linked to my SHE account and 3 because the button didn't show any action so I kept hitting it and ended up with 3 requests.)
I did get most of the houseblessing done so that's a big accomplishment and my evening was a meeting.
Off to bed now. I need to be out the door in a 7.5 hours.
Dgs will be here and I'm not prepared.

Re: National "Clean off your desk" Day Monday January 9, 2023!
I was able to get to TJ Max today and am enjoying hot beverage in my new cup from there.
Got my new to me baskets washed they're drying now.
I painted a new to me tray it was really ugly but I knew paint would be easy enough.
I had to peel and soak paper off and the put black paint on to match the inside with the outside.
I take trays to dson's and leave em, kind of a game I am always on the look - out for a tray for there.
They seem to like em and use em! They got three or 4 last year his gal does catering so I suppose they get good use.
Trying to decide if it needs glitter glue?
What do you all think?
Yes or no on that.
I looked over my lesson and finished reading the book for the one that is the nite class.
And I need to look over the other one for the afternoon lesson.
I got 2 devos. one I will copy a list of references to use out of a bigger print source.
I am rounding up some items for a friend ship basket, that is fun.
I have some dish clothes I have on hand I did not use over the holidays.
Finished a scarf, got grey yarn for the next one, just in time and I am getting pretty tired of the bright multi colored one anyway.
We had quite a bit of rain and got a free car wash in one rig today.
Did get the trash out and ready to go to the curb.
Some items will be on my bujo list for later in the week
