I'm coming back through and I am tired. Really good workout, then a stop at the library. They did not have info I wanted but I spent a few minutes piddling around looking at some other things. Then stopped off at a 5 Guys for a small burger, then cleaners, then home. And it was raining when I left earlier so ddog did not want to stay out and potty, so I took her around two laps just now  and we had rain starting up again. I'm glad I got the walk in.

We have possible storms - not severe I think - for the next couple of hours and then temps dropping.

I might put pajamas on, turn the gas fire on, and veg out on the couch. I have 8400 steps today.

Happy face. I have NOTHING on the calendar for tomorrow or Saturday, except for dh getting home late Sat afternoon or evening.

Hello Mystery.

I'm happy to read Blessed's DH is doing a bit better.

We were getting ready to go to small group, 6:00 usual place, and I thought oh I better look to see if there are any emails. They send emails out to the group as a whole, prayer requests, meeting notices, etc. and they just send to DH's email address and he forwards to me. If I don't look at my email we get all messed up because DH does not remember what he reads. So I looked and guess what? The host wife has covid so they have changed the location to one of the other couple's place and changed the time so they'll have time to get back from their appointment. I'm so glad I looked. DH said he thought it was a different time but when I said 6:00 he thought maybe he was mistaken. He did not remember about the location change. I better keep a closer track of all this.

I have gone up and down the ladder and stashed all the Christmas boxes for the year. DH was going to help and hand up the boxes but he wasn't around when I got ready to do it so I just went ahead and finished it. I am glad it is done.

After that was done I put a couple things from the bookcase in the donate bin. I took the drawer organizer I was going to donate and put it in my desk drawer and took the ones in there out. Reorganized it all and I like how it is. I'll get used to it being different, but I think this will work nicely. I have a bunch of cleaning to do now that everything is put away. When we don't have a lot of clutter it's easier to see the dust! Up on top of the tv/stereo hutch, my goodness, dust! I did run the vacuum where the tree was and the corner where the round table/lamp goes. Nice to have that done.

Ok, more jobs in my mind now for later. I wonder where I am on the scale of BO or NOT BO. I think extreme BO might be OCD!

Hi everyone!
I checked in the document that never ends last night at 7 pm. This morning there was one more thing, but I emailed it to the person reviewing at the time and had them deal with it. (It was a simple change). It has been weird not dealing with that document today. Over lunch I finalized my choice of shore excursions in May and will reserve and pay for them tonight or tomorrow night. I am bummed that I broke the insulated cup I use for tea at work. It was a freebie that someone had left (still in its wrapper) on the adjacent desk. Several DPCs were accomplished. I have one more email that must be completed today relevant to my next task.

I am on a 9/80 schedule and tomorrow is my "day off". I put that in quotes because it is rapidly filling up. I must deliver paperwork to the surgeon. I must find someone who can scan Buddy for a microchip because he and Willow are being adopted. I had long ago scheduled lunch with a friend. DD20 wants to do something in the afternoon.

This evening's essentials: paperwork and more paperwork, finish the Advent calendar that the lunch friend gave me (it's a computer application so not just opening doors). I am meeting an animal org friend for dinner and to get a microchip for someone to install in Buddy if he does not have one. This means I will get home late and there may not be time for some usual stuff and shore excursion purchases. I am doing much better on guitar practice and workouts. The holidays did not help. Neither will surgery.

This weekend I must finish a crochet project because I am seeing its recipient for Monday lunch. I should also work on getting the house in shape for Future Elizabeth, the surgical patient.

ETA: Boss tells me program reviewer "has concerns" about the document. Does that mean spacing and formatting or something serious?

We’re fine, if anyone wondered about the storm damage. We could have slept through the whole thing except phone alarm woke us up at 8:00 am. We did go over to ds’ house but never went to basement.
However— just a few miles down the road, there were trees down, roof damage, lots of structure damage like metal awning at our church, power lines down. Our local hospital had a lot of roof damage and I’ve heard they were moving patients to other hospitals. (Don’t know if that was true or not.) But we’re fine.

Stayed at ds’ 45 min or so and came home and slept all day. So — I’ve done NOTHING all day long.
Finally s2s and dh and I went out to eat.
Tomorrow is another day.

:P pppllllfftttt to anyone who would make blessed feel guilty. That's silly. And the blessed dds are being wonderful and responsible.

Storm - it's all sort of the same storm band. Wouldn't be surprised if it impacts Kathryn or Cathy, even.
We were under a warning for an hour or so. Remarkable winds and thunder. I've never liked winter thunder - so weird. I hope we don't have a lot of trees down on the roads in the morning. Have not heard from anyone who had particular trouble. The band broke as it passed over our area, giving us a little bit of a break, but the winds were too rough to expect no trouble in the morning at all.

Spiffed the kitty potty area.

I finally gave in to HRH and am baking brownies. They smell great. Didn't have any walnuts or pecans, though.

Happy to hear about Buddy and Willow being adopted 8-) such cool news.

The changes are substantial but will not be ready for further editing by others until Monday. That means at least I get to keep my Friday off. Not that it is much of a day off. With 4 reviewers it is hard to see what problems were not caught, but there we are. Bleah. I will call in after my lunch meeting and make sure I am not needed (and hope I am told NO). So discouraging. Gotta stay until 6 because the program reviewer will send a status update. Then I will go drown my sorrows with Cracker Barrel turkey and dressing.

Got the second load of laundry into the dryer before leaving for the doctor's.

The big storm (up to a foot of snow) hits tonight but there was snow and freezing rain all day today so we left waaay early for the appointment and got there waaay early but safely. Then inched our way down the road to Costco and bought some groceries, returned the unopen cell phone that didn't meet my needs, and picked up a chicken for dinner.

We watched another episode of TV, then I caught up on Stephen Colbert. Dh watched the prince's interview last night and listening to him laugh at times, I decided to watch it tonight.

I might go to bed early tonight. Tomorrow we'll be snowed in.

The wind shifted to be from the east 3 days ago ahead of the storm and our bedroom is now 68 instead of 72. We note the difference and now the floor feels cold. Dh thought I had a window open. Nope, it is just the cold off the windows not being offset by the radiant heat, plus the door is closed at night so that the humidifier can work properly. That stops the warmer air from the rest of the apartment from coming into the room. I turned up the thermostat and turned on the radiator fan so that the room can be a bit warmer when we go to bed. I'm good with 68 but it is at that because the door is open and dropping to 66 which is what I think it would do tonight, is a bit much. So I'll let the room warm up to 72 and then turn off the fan again (it is noisy.)
