Twins: I was a few days post operation before going home but I had had an infection going in (so had to wait almost a week for the operation because they had to get the infection under control.) I was also back into the hospital again a month later with another attack because my gall bladder had been about to rupture and some of the gall stones escaped during the operation, one of which caused another infection (but that I passed on my own without further surgery.)

My day was very full. I think it was successful but I'm not sure. I had a hard time being 'present' in church and really only managed it during the singing. The annual meeting was reasonably good but I had to leave after the financial report was passed but before the budget. I was there for one of my committee's report and so waved my hand so people would know who I am (I'm still newish there despite attending from age 2 - I missed age 30 - 55, plus wasn't around much in my early 20s.)

Got home, grabbed a bagel and set a timer and stopped eating when the timer went off because it was time to go get set up for the Residents' Association social and AGM. It was a huge success and we had 49 people attend (old record was mid-30s.) Lots of positive energy in the room, as well.

Lots for me to write up but that's for Tuesday.

Tomorrow, dgs1.9 arrives at 7ish (dh will pick him up for me). The apartment is now ready for him, except my desk needs to be closed up.)

He'll stay until after supper and then I have a meeting at 7, so I'm hoping he's gone by then.

I'm off to bed now although sleeping might be hard as there's snow removal happening on the road below us.

LadyM, if it's the one with Carolina Reaper, well, no one from the Carolinas really eats that. lol. "It ain't from around here," people say. I kinda hope the group has some dairy to help afterward. I like sour cream because it is thick. Some like buttermilk, same reason.

I found a little gift I meant to give ds' children for Valentine's (I am so scattered sometimes) and called him to offer it. He said, "just sitting here trying to watch the Super Bowl, Mom". Oops! Another thing I forgot before I called.

Decluttering again. I can work on this room for an hour, and it will look like I haven't done anything.

Oddities found:
ultrasound picture of dd23, circa 1998, (framed, protected, BUT STILL)
my dmother's curved embroidery scissors, surprisingly sharp,
Flat Stanley, retired from travels
